LEGO Marvel Iron Man Mark 3 Collectors’ Edition 76344

I loved building this set, the color scheme and quality of blocks above standard. This one of over 92 sets I have purchased so far.

The first Iron Man is still my favorite movie in the MCU, so I was really excited to get this set. Overall it looks great, but I was hoping it would be a little more poseable. The legs are fixed, so when you turn the torso for a more action-style pose it ends up looking a bit awkward and unnatural. This is definitely a set made more for display than play. That said, the gold pieces look amazing and I love that all the parts are printed.

This set is a stunning display piece, though it has very little play features it is an amazing se with a super fun build.

The building experience was overall positive. Although, I had a few problems with it that made it a bit more difficult to enjoy. First off, I find that the two flaps on the bottom back of the figure tend to come off quite easily, making it frustrating when trying to position it. The head I also felt, lacked some shape compared to the rest of the figure. I get the scaling might’ve been the key factor in why the head might’ve lacked, but I still feel as though it could’ve been worked on a bit more. Especially when compared to the bust figure of iron man, the head looks a bit off. Though, from a builders standpoint, it would be extremely difficult to achieve the same detail, I still feel like a little more design could’ve gone into it. Another problem I had with it were the hands, which building and trying to position were a little bit difficult, especially when it comes to the pieces having to snap on and then snapping off sometimes. As far as strong suits, the body and scaling (except the heads detail), look absolutely amazing. I love the almost scale looking torso, and the strong and defined features of the arms and legs. Overall, the build quality and experience were good, and I would definitely recommend this to other people, but improvements could definitely be made in future designs. Thank you to the Lego team for making this product become reality!

Well organized kit! Colors and the polished gold pieces were very vibrant. It could have been improved with more movement in the knees. Overall, a great build!!

The set looks awesome and detailed for what it is, and was pretty fun to build overall. However, there's a gigantic flaw with this set - the articulation freedom is basically non-existent. You can rotate the waist, the shoulders, the head and the hands for a little bit, everything else is completely fixed in place: feet, ankles, knees, legs, upper torso, even the elbows! That means you can't even pose the arms in any particular fashion, only as shown in the product page. Come on Lego, you've done the Transformers series and all of them move way more freely AND transform, why can't Iron Man? I deduct another star because in the literal decades of building lego, this is my first time missing not 1, but 2 pieces in a set. I have always looked back, taken something apart and realized I put something together wrong. Not this time, they are actually missing from the packaging.

I likes the build but it was a missed opportunity. The elbows and knees don't bend. The elbows twist but don't bend and they have what look like joints but that's it. Just the look of joints. The legs are just too rigid and straight. Could have made them have a joint at the knee. There is no playability with this build. Cool to look at but that is the extent of this build.

I love this set. The freedom of positions you can customise is great, it is the best Iron Man model that Lego have, and the best part of the build was the last step when you insert the arc reactor, that was extremely satisfying. The printed manual came with a minor misprint where a piece was cropped, but it was clear enough what was wrong. The construction of the hands was the most finicky and confusing, after 3 or 4 times I eventually figured out how to place the palms correctly so they were sturdy. His arms are locked in their stances but can easily be rotated into all sorts of positions which is exceptional for any Lego set - even more so than the K2SO set. The head is easy to position and holds its place, though can come off if you apply too much force so recommend to be gentle. Highly recommend for MCU fans.

I fell in love with this set the second I saw it. I missed the preorder but found it in stores shortly after release day. The detail is insane and it was a really fun build. This is my favorite set to date

This may be one of my favourite Lego builds that I have ever done. The detail is just amazing. Had fun during the entire process. Being poseable is also pretty cool. The only thing was that I received a wrong piece. Luckily it was just for his armour and not the interior. I messaged Lego to get a replacement but haven’t received any response. This definitely deserved 5 stars, too bad it’s not fully complete.

Came out awesome and was a nice activity to fill some dead time I had. Not sure about other reviews saying they were missing pieces as I ended up with extra pieces and no I didn’t miss a step before asking yourself that question. Overall great little activity if you like puzzles and Marvel.

This is easily one of the best Iron Man sets lego has produced. The scale is perfect, the gold detailing is beautiful, and the building process was a blast from start to finish

If you’re a Marvel fan and love to build Lego then this is a must have. Well constructed, feels very sturdy once it’s built.
