I sized up based on the reviews and it was too big. I wish I would've stuck to my regular size. The XL was a true XL, I was swimming in it. The dress is beautiful and comfortable and now it's unavailable in my size. So disappointed with the reviews which were misleading.

Does run pretty small as others have said. I’m typically a 0/xs and have noticed most stores’ sizing has been creeping up in size while the alphanumeric value has stayed the same but this feels like a true old school 0/xs with no give. The material is not stretchy. Feels thick and almost canvas like. I couldn’t fit it over my head. I had to use the functional buttons to put it on and the waist was a tight fit — almost scared to wash or dry in case it shrinks and then the buttons would be popping even more. Could use some fashion tape. Overall will probably be kind of a fussy dress despite having the convenience of pockets. Will likely wear a cami underneath (if I can fit it under the tightness of this dress). The color is nice for summer-fall transitional time. Def recommend sizing up and tailoring it to your liking. Would have been nice if target added those extra hidden snap buttons in between the buttons by the chest and upper waist to prevent button gaping. The under bust area needed like an extra half inch of fabric. I’m a 32C so by no means busty and the chest area could def fit much bigger girls but the underbust area is so tight it’s prob not likely to be filled out in the chest.

Yes it takes weeks to arrive. I am 5’3 and wanted a dress than would fit longer on me. After reading reviews, purchased an XL instead of a medium. (Bust 38). XL should fit bust 43.5 to 45.5 so I figured if dress is running small even if it was a little big on me XL would work. Couldn’t come close to closing bust area. I’d guess it’s 34. The bummer - this dress is really nice! The cut is flattering, the length perfect on me and the color is something that could be used summer/fall. Will return.

Very nice dress but sizing up is a must if you have even a modest bust or belly. love the fabric covered buttons.

Fits great! It’s very slimming and perfect for petite gals. Wrinkles easy but it’s a great dress for work or date night vibes.

great material, feels comfortable...not for busty girls. top runs very small but not proportionate enough to just size up, couldn't button the top buttons even with shape wear on

The material felt like good quality. It fit well in the shoulder and hips, but the waist and bust seemed very very small for a XXL. I couldn’t button the top three buttons.

This dress is super cute, so I was bummed it didn’t work out. It runs small - waistline is VERY small. I’m a true small at Target, and this wouldn’t even come close to buttoning closed around my ribs.

It is such a beautiful dress and the color is amazing. But it is just way too small. I ordered XXL and it felt like a large or even a medium size. I wear XL from target but ordered a size up, what a disappointment to see that it was way too small. Will have to return sadly.

The color is really nice and true to the photos, but it’s cut really small all over. I’m a reliable XL at Target, but based on the cut of the bust in the listing, I got an XL and an XXL to try. The XL was cut more like a small L or even an M. The XXL was cut like a very small XL or L. I would need this in a 1x - maybe even a 2x, but it’s not offered in plus sizes which is unusual for Target. The material is also a bit plastic feeling and very stiff. It doesn’t swish around you as it looks like it might in the photo. Overall, this one is a hard pass and good thing since I can’t fit it anyway!
