Calphalon 6qt Premier Stainless Steel Stock Pot with Lid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stock pot is such a great size and shape. I love that it's not huge like some that I have, but it's plenty big enough to hold large quantities. I love the stainless steel. It looks and feels like good quality. Very happy with this pot.

I bought a 5qt sauce pan a month ago to add to my Calphalon and Revere cookware. This one def heats up faster than my older stuff. It’s beautiful, heavy, and easy to clean. I love the glass lid.

I cleaned it and next day it had dusty spots on it which never went away

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Calphalon 6 Quart Stock Pot is beautiful at first sight! A great size for making stews & soups in batches for this cold NY weather. It heat up well & was not wobbly on the stove. The pot does have a significant footprint but can easily stack other items inside for ease of storage! Lid fits perfect flush & can be left on the stove for display since it’s so pretty. Absolutely recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Calphalon makes quality products and this stock pot is no exception! I like to make soups and stews anytime, but especially in the cooler months. My first time using this pot was for a beef stew. I cook the beef in the stock pot first and then start adding other ingredients. The pot maintained even heat for browning the beef cubes as well as throughout the cooking of the stew. I am sure I will enjoy cooking with this pot. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because of the handles. I wish Calphalon would add silicon to their handles of their pots and pans. I have the same problem with my Calphalon regular pots and pans and have to remember to grab a pot holder or get burned. I am on the fence about a glass (ie. see through) lid. I did like the way the pot heats so I am not sure if that would change the way it heats having the metal lid. The glass lids just give me the ability to see what's going on without having to lift the lid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a solid and sturdy pot - the stainless steel looks stylish and sleek, although smudges can be quite visible. The size is excellent for large families; whether it’s soup, stew, ragu, mulled wine, or compote, everything cooks beautifully. The quality is impressive too - even heat distribution and a non-stick surface. I like that it comes with a lid, though I’d personally prefer it to be transparent so I can see what’s happening inside. The handles get warm during cooking, but not too hot - I can still hold them with bare hands.

It has a huge capaciry ideal dor curries and stir friy-really for anything! It has a nice mirror finish and was so easy to clean. A bit of oil while heating and its practically like a non stick. I wanted to make the transition to stainless steel and glad I got to try this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Omg this 6 qt Dutch oven is quickly becoming my favorite pot! I have made two soups in ur already and both times forgot to snap a photo. Nothing stuck to the bottom. Cooking temperature was nice and even. It’s the perfect size for a family meal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Calphalon's Premier cookware 6 qt stock pot is masterfully crafted to be elegant, yet durable. With its aluminum heat-responsive core contained in 4 layers of stainless steel, cooking and cleanup become a simpler task. The pot reaches the correct temperature quickly and simmers like a champ. There are no unsightly stains, warping, or dents that magically appear while cooking like some other brands. I cannot get over how pretty this pot is after a dozen uses. That mirror-polish really shines. I have used it on my gas stove, stuck it in the oven, and cleaned it in the dishwasher. The only qualm that I have is that there are claims from Calphalon, stating the handles stay cool, but they do not. I have yet to find steel handles that stay cool, so I am not upset about it in the slightest. This is a great buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan is amazing, but it is significantly smaller than I was expecting. I made a wonderful stock in it. But because of the size I had to make significantly less. This would be good for someone who lives alone/cooks for one.

I also love how heavy and beautiful it looks in my kitchen. To clean it it’s a breeze and cooks eveeything evenly. So far, I have used it to make soup, pasta and fricase de pollo. I highly recommend it and will be buying more!
