Excellent training tool!
I have a couple of these already and just bought this one. They are adjustable enough to fit most horses and the design gives much more control than a regular halter; great for training green horses and also for ones that need a little "reminding"!

Great price for a standard rope halter. Has held up well. The only thing I would change would be to make the rope halter slightly thinner. The rope material is thicker than most other rope halters I've seen and sometimes is a little bulky when knotting.

I like it!
I bought two of these for my haflinger team. I like everything about the halters except two things. I want to leave these on under their driving bridles and the knots at the side of the cheek keep slipping under the joint where the nose band connects to the cheek strap of the bridle. So there's the potential there for rubbing and I'm probably not gonna be able to do that. The other problem is that I wanted solid black to match their harness. So, it's a terrific halter, and a great value, but there are two items that aren't optimal for my particular situation.

This rope halter and lead are a little light weight. I would have preferred a heavier, longer lead rope for a rope halter so you can use the weight of the lead during training. But otherwise its fine and the color is nice too.

Excellent Rope Halter for the Price
We order six of these halter for the horses at our boarding barn. They are great to just tie on the fence to the turn outs and catch the horses to bring them in. They fit all the sizes of horses fine. We did have to tighten some of the knots before use but not a big deal. Excellent halter for the price. Most rope halters are cheep made unless you buy Clinton Anderson. These are great.

Great Training Tool
I purchased this halter to use in training my horse to load on a trailer. Because the pressure is distributed differently than a normal halter my horse seems to have better focus since the pressure is focused on the poll. I would recommend this to any rider looking to for a good training tool!

I think my halter was mis-tied. The halter fit lopsided when on my Appy. I had to adjust some of the key knot tie locations. Now it fits symmetrically. The knots over the nose are something I didn't notice when I ordered. OK for a difficult horse, but mine does not need that unnecessary pain. Good for the right horse.

Good quality for both the lead and halter. I've used this for both ground work as well as under my headstall while riding and it fits and works great for both. Also love the colors I haven't seen a rope halter before in this color combination and I like it because its very neutral and goes with anything.

Good quality rope for both the halter and lead, with a nice solid feel. The halter is not the hard, stiff rope that some are made of, which to me is a good thing. I did have to tighten the knots when it arrived as a couple were loose, but that was easy enough. Nice length to the lead and a set that should be darn well indestructible for a while.
