It was a bit pricey but it cleans my new tile floors far better than my old upright. Very impressed with the suction and most importantly the length of the cord. Looking forward to many years with this product.

Well built, well designed, really powerful and easy to use are some of the things I'm thinking when I use it. The unit is extremely easy to transition from different type(s) of floors like hardwood and tile to carpet but wher it has done a fantasti job for me is on stairs! We have been searching for a lightweight vacuum with sufficient power to handle carpet, laminate, and slate/tile floors. Decided to give the Prolux power nozzle backpack a try and couldn’t be happier. Does an excellent job on all surfaces, is lightweight, and the backpack makes it easy to transport around the house and up and down stairs. Canister is easy to empty and clean out. Telescoping handle adjusts easily to what is comfortable for my wife or I. Couldn’t be more pleased with our purchase so far. Highly recommend.

We use the power nozzle for all the floors carpet/ hard floors and the light believe it or not is really handy for vacuuming underneath stuff where it’s dark. It’s nice to have such a long cord also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already had 2 Prolux backpack vacuums with the original residential powerhead and this one is a huge improvement. The light on the nozzle helps so much in cleaning customer's homes with bad lighting. You really can't miss anything with this feature. The powerhead is so easy to clean, the roller brush comes out to make it easy. The vacuum itself is great. I would recommend having one extra filter per vacuum to make it easy to change out while you clean the other.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using my Prolix 2.0 Bagless Backpack Vacuum cleaner for a few weeks now, I feel I’m ready to give my review! First, assembly was very easy and came with clearly written (and comedic) instructions. I first assembled the Deluxe Electric Power Nozzle (with extendable wand and flexible hose). I was hesitant about the Backpack part of the vacuum being heavy so, before checking out my accessories, I strapped it on my back and gave it a try. I’m happy to say that it was actually very comfortable and lightweight. It has 2 buckles which you buckle around your front chest/stomach area and they make you feel very secure and comfortable moving around with the vacuum. I actually used it and vacuumed a portion of, what I thought was, already clean carpet. I was amazed with the amount of fuzz and dirt it picked up! Now, let’s talk about the attachments. The crevice tool- for cleaning between cracks and crevies, such as where the baseboard meet the carpet and, in my case, where a carpeted step leads into my kitchen. I also used it to vacuum between my couch cushions. Mini Turbo/ Pet Tool -I don’t have an inside pet at the moment but I do have 2 outside dogs. We do track dog hair in on our shoes in certain areas of the house so that’s where I tried out this attachment. The attachment has a rolling brush along with hard rubber like teeth along the edges to really get a deep clean and lift up dirt and grime or grab pet hair from unwanted surfaces. It pulled a lot of dog hair up from our small rugs inside all doors of our house. The round dusting brush- it’s larger size and softer bristles make it perfect for dusting different fabrics and furniture. I found it very useful on the top, back edge of my couches and even the dust which settles on my trim. The hardfloor brush- I only have a small area of hard floor so I wasn’t able to try it as much as I would have liked before reviewing. The description states “the squeegee tool has soft bristles and a quality rubber squeegee to protect your floors.” That is one part of the instruction manual that doesn’t make using this attachment crystal clear. The rubber squeegee is separate from the hard floor brush and I don’t understand how to install it. However, using the brush alone on my small area of hard floor worked perfectly well without the rubber squeegee. Upholstery/ Pet hair tool - you can tell with just one look that this attachment would be perfect for vacuuming upholstery and areas that are normally hard to reach with a regular vacuum. It could be used on carpeted stairs as well...and I suppose a vehicle seeing as the cord is 30ft long and the backpack only weighs about 9 pounds. Using the vacuum with the Deluxe Electric Power Nozzle was a dream. It practically does the work for you. The tool is so powerful that it pulls forward on its own and you just pull it back. You can hear it’s suction power as the tiny particles collect in the canister. There is a height adjusting foot pedal for higher or lower pile carpeting, an on/off foot pedal, soft rubber bumper so you don’t dint and ding your baseboards, an L.E.D. Headlight and a brush roll view window so you can see what’s being suctioned up. Speaking of, I almost forgot to mention the bonus tool that was included with this vacuum. It’s a maintenance tool with a little brush on one side to clean your filters and the other end is curved with a blade on the inside so you can slide it right through any hair that WILL become wrapped around the brush roll and allow you to simply pull the hair off the roll and throw away. I’m still getting used to navigating the long cord since I’ve never owned this type of vacuum but overall, I simply LOVE this vacuum! Its powerful, versatile, included many accessories and the telescoping wand allows me to get all the way under my bed without having to move the monstrous, heavy thing. It’s just a bonus to be able to pretend I’m busting ghost instead of vacuuming!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this vacuum sooo much. I can vacuum my steps and in tight spaces without dragging a heavy vacuum around with me. Just put it on your back and go to town. I always said I wanted a vacuum like this that I can carry on my back, it makes it so much easier to vacuum. It comes with many attachments. And it was easy to put together. The vacuum is very powerful, it cleaned up all the pet hair on my carpets. I love the power brush, that's a must have. And the other attachments are good for various places in the house I can't get to with the power brush. It's a awesome vacuum.

Since we have chosen to have an Australian Shepard and tabby cat, we have always found ourselves playing catch up trying to combat our dirty floors. Naturally, we have gone through many vacuums trying to find a good unit that can take care of our problem. The Prolux backpack vacuum caught our eyes because it was the first bagless backpack vacuum we had ever seen. Unboxing the unit, we were surprised by all of the different attachments it came with. Just to name a few: a squeegee blade, dusting brush, upholstery/pet hair tool and crevice tool. All of these different attachments provided a means for us to take care of all the different floors, furniture and crevices in our household. Once you don the backpack it is as lightweight as it claims. I am a firefighter and am used to wearing an air pack so you would have to figure that out for yourself! The vacuum was great to get all of the pet hair off of our couches with the included upholstery tool. When using the main attachment with the height adjusting foot pedal we ran into our only problem. We were having difficulty adjusting the height. It seemed like we were having to hit this pedal with our foot different ways each time to get it to adjust to each level (it may be user error, we will keep you updated). However, we vacuumed our entire house with our previous vacuum and then followed it with this new one. We were astounded at the amount of hair the first one had missed. Dumping the canister was super easy as well, just clicking a simple button. Lastly, another plus we found was the length of the power cord. It gave us almost enough slack to vacuum our entire first floor without having to unplug it. We have always struggled in purchasing vacuums but we believe we have hit a home run with this one so far!

The cord is long enough that I can do at least two rooms at a time including the carpeted stairs. Hardwood too! I absolutely recommend this vacuum for anyone that has “trouble “ areas that you can’t get at with a normal upright. Definitely a five star!
