not worth it long-term
I've had this for about two years and never had problems with cleaning the filter as instructed, however with time the filter has become unusable and as other reviews state, there are no replacement filters available on the market. It worked pretty well, but now with the filter in a defunct state it barely grasps anything and you need to go over a large crumb about 10 times. To make things worse, there's small gaps inside of it that you physically cannot reach to clean, which eventually build up disgusting gunk. I would upload pictures of this but I'm away from home. Overall, this is probably better off as a lightly-used car vacuum, but not for long-term use in your home. Buy another brand and research their product availability if they require filter replacements. Learn from mine and other's experience... don't buy this.

Promising for RV use.
I purchased the Dirt Devil for our travel trailer to get around the flooring edges and hard to sweep areas. After using it in my kitchen and in the car, I believe it will work for my intentions. Ô In the kitchen, it did perfectly fine for the trash bin drawer, around the stove and other "crevices". This is mostly the type of vacuuming I'll be doing. Ô in the car, it didn't perform so well on the mats or small cutouts for keys, etc. the nozzle just didn't fit in there. I'd like to see another attachment that has some sort of small hose that would get into those smaller 1"x3" spaces. Pros: it worked well picking up small stuff--crumbs, small pepper corn sized pebbles & other lightweight things. Cons: 1. Takes awhile for recharging. A charge maybe lasts 20 minutes, but then it's only meant for small cleanups. Once the battery starts getting low, it loses most of its suction. 2. The on/off switch is too easily turned on/off--really should be a slide type switch or placed out of reach when changing nozzles. 3. There's a bit of snugness to removing the filter, so best to practice and if it's full, utilize a trash bag to keep the grit from flying out when removing the filter. AQlso, when reattaching the filter, be sure it is evenly re-inserted, not kittywompus. 4. There's a bit of a learning curve on using the 2in1 nozzle. Had to watch a youtube. Other than that, I am happy with the purchase for the use intended.

Super Convenient
I've had this lil' vacuum for a couple years and I'm a big fan. I'm posting this review now because I recently bought a bigger model from a competing brand at twice the price and HATED it, which made me appreciate this Grab & Go even more. The vacuum and charging stand take up very little space, so I keep it on my desk to quickly grab and tidy up my desk and keyboard or dust around the house. It has more than enough suction for cobwebs and crumbs, or even to spot-clean carpeting in a pinch. The canister is easy to empty and clean without making a mess, and the battery has plenty of charge for the small cleanups I need. I wouldn't expect this to clean a whole room or anything, but it's perfect for the way I use it.

WARNING - Don't Buy
Do not buy this product, it is no longer being serviced, and replacement parts are impossible to find or come by. The fact that it is being sold is disturbing, and they clearly expect people to give up and repurchase the same vacuum. Find a new brand!! It is a shame because the vacuum was working well and good for its purpose and price. However, at the end of the day, it will just become a discarded piece of plastic that you can no longer use.

Do not buy this vacuum
I bought this little hand vac for our camper trailer and it is perfect except for one problem - I have been trying to buy replacement filters for at least 4 months but they are not available anywhere. I have been cleaning the filter with compressed air but the filter is in desperate need of replacement. I have been a big fan of dirt devil project but feel as if I have been a victim of fraud. It is environmentally irresponsible to make an item which needs replacement filters without also producing the filter replacements.

Woulda been perfect
This vacuum is really 5 stars until you need a filter and no one including Dirt Devil is selling them. After that, you realized you've been scammed and Dirt Devil is playing in your face. Make the filters available for purchase or give us our money back. This is insane at this point.
