The BLACK+DECKER HNVC220BCZ01 Compact Lithium Hand Vacuum is lightweight, yet powerful, easy to charge and easy to clean. This cordless hand vacuum has it all. The HNVC220BCZ01 is powered by a lithium ion battery that holds a charge when its off its charger, offers more charge cycles and is lighter than NiCd batteries. This lightweight vacuum is only 1.4lbs and has 16 Air Watts of suction power. The translucent bagless dirt bowl makes it easy see the dirt level in the larger 13oz capacity bowl and is easy to empty; both filter and dirt bowl are washable. The included brush lets you use the vacuum for dusting + on upholstery, and the crevice tool gives you access to hard to reach areas. The included wall-mountable charger allows for 1 step charging and storage, with an LED light that lets you know when unit is fully charged. And the extra tools store out of the way on the charging base. Kit includes: (1) Hand Vacuum, (1) Crevice Tool, (1) Brush Tool, (1) Washable Bag Filter (HNVCF10), and (1) wall mountable charger. Uses replacement filter HNVCF10. Backed by a 2 Year Limited Warranty.

Q: Does the wall charger mount need to be nailed into the wall? I'm not allowed to do that where I live. Is there any other way?

A: It is not easy to charge if you don’t mount the charger on the wall. You can make it work on the floor but it’s tricky to make sure vacuum connects properly.

I have had mine 6 years and works like new ! It does what I need which is clean my couch , rug under coffee table and if needed vac my mat in kitchen in front of my sink . I didn’t need an expensive Dustbuster and I knew this brand was good enough for my use. Some say they don’t like it but don’t use it for heavy duty stuff . My sister has a better one for her needs but she paid twice what I did . She has a Black and Decker as well.

Anyone with birds, this is your friend! Super easy to clean up down and dust around cages. Me and my husband have seasonal allergies and this thing is perfect for keeping dust away. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because suction can be a hit or miss depending on what you're trying to clean, but it does the job for my needs. My vacuum has been going strong for the past THREE YEARS. I love it.

Air blows out much more than sucks in
kind of gets the job done, that is if you’re vacuuming crumbs and only crumbs. Doesn’t even pick up all of the dirt and dust on a rug or hard surface like a wood floor which was the main reason why I bought this. Also air blows OUT much more than it sucks in which is also probably why it doesn’t pick up as much as it should. you get what you pay for I guess.

Not for vehicles!
Picked this up for(hopefully) a car vacuum. Put it on the charger for about 3hrs and then took it for a spin. This is not a good solution for a car! They suction is too weak to pick up any embedded dirt/crumbs and it cannot reach under or between seats. I'd say the only good use is for very light cleanup on a sofa or table. I guess for $35 I'm not too mad about it.

Great dustbuster EXCEPT you have to press the power button the entire time you're using it! Thumb get tired real quick. Never imagined so I threw box away and can't return it but makes it almost unusable for longer than 10 seconds at a time or so.

The recharging stopped working a few days (90 days) after Target would no longer accept the return. Target would not accept the return. You will find this item regularly on sale at Target. It is not worth the sale price, it will stop working after 90 days and an extended warranty is a rip-off.
