Q: Does this vest have a chemical smell? I am sensitive to smell and purchased a vest from a different store earlier this year and the smell was awful.

A: Hello, Scent or odor is subjective. It is totally up to the individual's tolerance to different scents and smells. Everyone is different in how they can perceive scents. One person may not smell anything and another may smell a strong odor. We do not perceive any type of smell or odor when using the Weighted Vests, yet, again, that all depends on the individual. We cannot say for sure what your experience will be like. As a suggestion we recommend making a purchase on Amazon simply because Amazon will give you up to 30 days to try out the Vest and if it is not what you were looking for you may return it, usually with free shipping, and they will not charge a restocking fee, where our company may charge a restocking fee up to 20% of the purchase price if your package has been opened. The vest is easy to put on and take off. The straps are easy to adjust. My only complaint is it has a strong odor that has not dissipated over time.

It’s not good if you’re doing a lot of movements. It bounces a lot if you’re running or jumping with it and the strap comes up to my neck a lot. I would’ve returned it if I wasn’t so ready to use it l. I would recommend something that actually stays close to your body. This isn’t it.
