Pyle Dual 10.5'' Car Headrest CD/DVD System - Vehicle Entertainment System with Wireless Headphones, Mounting Brackets & Remote Control

This is hit or miss. You have to have your vehicle running. I usually have to take the disk in and out 5 times to get it to read the disk.

Hard to keep wires out of Waycross kids on longtrip. possibly better if installed direct. Instructions little help

Easy enough to set-up and use. Good picture quality. Audio will play through unit, headphones, or a selected fm radio channel. You can adjust audio preferences within the menus on the screen. Wireless headphones work well. No pairing needed. On the headphone power switch, select A or B and set the audio output on the DVD player to match (under IR setting). DVD players are in a stiff riding heavy duty truck. So far, they don't seem overly sensitive to bumps and skip or pause over rough roads. Only question mark is how to adjust the DVD players vertically. They appear to have the ability to raise or lower them on the mount, but it isn't very apparent how that feature works. There are six screws that hold the mounting plate to the rear of the unit, but two screws are behind another bracket. Without removing all six screws to loosen or remove the mounting plate, the ability to adjust the mounting height vertically seem limited. Any insight on how to adjust the height (up or down) on the back of the unit so it sits higher or lower on the headrest would be welcome.

The description details for this product are accurate. There is an additional cable set that comes in the box that does not include any instructions. The cable kit is for the RCA inputs and outputs of each units along with 12vdc non-terminaled wire ends that are fused. I decided to purchase an electrical hobby box and cigarette lighter plug to mate the two harnesses and provide power from the car's ignition outlet. Some grommets and wire splices were also needed. Long and short, Pyle could have done all of this or created a kit to do all of this but did not. It would have made for a much better product. Also, there was no game disc; the remote is shaped for what should be a game disc but there was not one present for either unit.

Screen went out, returned to Pyle for replacements. Also, was unable to mirror any other video source from one unit to the other aside from a DVD. HDMI, AVI, etc do not mirror to secondary monitor. The quality of picture does look good though.

I finished setting up works as expected. I will recommend to friends and family it's a great entertainment system for kids

DVD players of all kinds are slowly dying out, and if you do your research, there aren't many options for adding these to your vehicle that are in this price range and still have decent capability (IMO the cheaper competitors are lacking in reliability and features - read their descriptions and the reviews carefully. . . ). I believe this is the best set for the use case of movies on trips in the family vehicle. I don't plan to take them out or get them to double as tablets. That said, this Pyle set meets most of my expectations - I can't say they are great, but they meet the need at a fairly low price point for little installation effort.

1 tv work the other tv do NOT

We've had this video system for 7 months, so far it's survived use several times a week and a handful of car trips. The kids appreciate being able to watch separate videos and occasionally share videos. The mount to the headrest was easy to install and is sturdy. The wiring options are really nice. I chose to hardwire mine. My only complaint is that the headphones a a bit flimsy, but otherwise, we're very happy with this purchase.

This DVD Player did not play all the DVD formats that it describes. It did not even play DVD's bought the day before our trip. It was very difficult for our 7 and 4 year old's to figure out how to work it. My wife was constantly crawling in the back to help get it working. I do not recommend this to any one. DO NOT BUY!

Love the units, but the headsets are cheaply made.

Was excited about this purchase at first due to the larger screens and resolution, however it was short lived as one screen has gone completely black and will not turn on and the other works periodically but is always glitching, shutting off randomly, or makes a high pitch screech sound in my daughter's headphones. Not worth the money and didn't even last a year! Purchased these April 2022.

Very good product. Each child can watch their own videos.

I drive an Audi Q7 and the mount for the DVD player would not work for our headrests. We ended up getting longer screws so that it would mount securely to the headrest bars. Pay attention to how wide the bars are on your headrests so that you can hopefully see if this mount will work with your car. The quality is good but could be better for the price.

The product was easy to install and set up. I ordered because it could play 2 different movies. The kids love it!

Takes for ever to load. . sometimes just pauses and does not resume until restarted. . does not have the new usb chords to connect to car. . has only the old style outlet plugs so useless if your car does not have multiple old style charging ports!!

Works great, best deal by far, a little more pricey than the rest but a huge difference in quality!!!
