Do not recommend. I loved it at first but once the battery dies, it’s impossible to screw it open to replace it!! I tried every screw driver I had and ruined the screws doing so. will have to buy a new one.

I loved this light so much! I originally bought it for reading but the light worked so well I started using it to cross stitch. However, when the light went out and I changed the battery, it no longer worked after that. Really frustrating.

I can't get the tiny tiny screw loosened to change the dang batteries. When I tried with my tiny tiny screwdriver, it just tore it up. Now I have to buy a new one.

I purchased this book light for reading in bed at night. The clip is sturdy and stays put while in use with hardcovers but it's quite heavy due to the battery compartment so doesn't work very well with paperback books. Also the light spread is too small. It only reaches a third to half of the page (4" max), so I'm having to constantly fiddle with it to reach the bottom half or to light the opposite page. It's just too putsy for my use so I'll be looking for one that better meets my needs.
