Family Dynamics
The story starts and ends with Esther: a proud Jew. She was an orphan at three years old and her strong faith helped her with challenges in life. Yet, the focus wasn’t about her. It was almost all about her biological son, James, and how he was trying to figure out his identity in life with two moms: Esther and Honor. One he knew well; the other one was distant. Parts of the plot were repeated, long and drawn-out with unexpected issues about open relationships and politics. The end wrapped up nicely.
