I have boys that 5 & 7 who love building with this and combining it with other marble sets by this company. We find the builds are sturdy and have held up well over years of play. It is one of my husband's favorite toys to build with the kids as well. When my youngest was younger he loved sending the balls down and finding pieces for us, and is excited to be able to help build now. It is not for toddlers (hence the 5+) but little boys and future engineers will love it.

This has such a strange construction and requires connective pieces even between each other piece. It was not feasible for my toddler to do on his own. Very cheaply made, the towers would stumble and didnt stay connected even with the pieces provided.
