Q: Is this toy too young for an 8 year old girl
A: This toy is age graded as 4+. We play test with kids of different ages. As children age up, they enjoy building bigger and better marble runs. It teaches logic, creative play, basic physics, fine motor skills and problem-solving as well as engineering fun!

Q: Can you construct a run without the elevator? I could have bought the smaller set (70 pieces no elevator) but opted for this set since the price differential was small.

Q: Can you make your own creative stuff?
A: Absolutely. A bit of trial and error but lots of fun to be creative. My daughter and I always build it to loop :)
