The initial taste was just ok compared to other flavors but it’s a proteins bar, so ok. But then about 30 to 45 minutes or so later I started to feel sick and nauseous. I tried it again a few days later to see if it was something else I ate or if it was a one-off but nope. I felt sick again 30 to 45 minutes later. I was so disappointed and really wanted to love this flavor.

Of all the Quest bars, this is the better tasting one and it's also probably because the texture is close to cookie dough. The overall texture is odd but this is okay if you need protein on the go.

I had assumed this bar would’ve been great! But I thought wrong. The texture is super dry-gummy feeling that sticks to your teeth. The chocolate pieces were okay, but the “cookie dough” was terrible.

I saw cookie dough on the package that looked delicious and I could not resist at the check out line plus a major protein bonus, what’s not to love? It seemed to good to be true. And it was. This company completely lied on this package. This bar has the looks, consistency, and probably taste of bath tile grout, like no joke. It’s the gift that keeps on giving, you can chew and chew for hours and the taste just keeps getting worse. Imagine bubble gum that was rolled on a dusty dirt road and endlessly chewing on it—that’s this bar. In no way, shape or form does this bar resemble cookie dough, Quest completely lied on the package. Quest must have paid the people who gave this more than one star and said anything remotely good about it.

They are heaven! It's hard for me to believe some people don't like them. I'm sad as I bought boxes of other kinds that I really don't like and have to eat those first before (protein bars are not cheap!) I can go back to enjoying my most favorite. Once they are gone, I will only buy these Quest Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!

Amazing. Macros are amazing. Texture is amazing. Taste is perfect. So far I have loved every quest product with my whole entire soul. I’m reviewing not only because I want others to know these are PERFECT but I want Quest nutrition to know I love you and please keep making everything you’re making. I used to eat a lot of these, but found out they contain sucralose. Increasing numbers of studies are showing this is not good for long term gut health and insulin response. As someone who is pre-diabetic, that's a big concern. Please figure out how to get this out of your ingredients. Ditto for the chocolate protein shakes. I've switched to another brand that is just sweetened with monkfruit.
