Rattan Dog Pencil Holder - Threshold™

If you are getting this as a pencil holder, it may not work well. However, it is amazing used as a decoration. Great craftsmanship, lightweight but also seem durable with how tight it was woven. Pretty stable and stands on its own with or without any items on it. You can’t keep a pencil upright since the height isn’t enough to keep it from falling. You can store a pencil vertically but I prefer my pencils upright. I used it to store some miscellaneous item on my entry way. Works well for that!

This rattan dog pencil holder is so cute and looks like something you would find in a high end decor store. While it says it’s a pencil holder, I love it just sitting out as a basket. I loved it so much I purchased one as a gift. The rattan varies in color from piece to piece, as well as the shaping of each dog. If you can find these in store, I think it’s worth looking for the one you like the best, but if you can’t find in store, order online. Mine arrived in perfect condition.

I also also used it as a catchall for keys, etc at an entryway. It is pretty large for a pen holder, so it takes up real estate on a desk. It is lightweight rattan so it can tip easily.

3 stars for being cute! But it smelled horrible when it arrived and didn’t fit pens. At least I couldn’t figure out how to make them fit. Had to return. Would be cute as a planter or for other uses though if you don’t mind the smell.

It looks better in the display picture. It doesn’t stand very well and it’s way darker in person. I would have paid $5 for this, not $15 It’s for my sons crayons so it’s probably going to get destroyed anyway, but I wouldn’t buy it again

I had this in my car as I ran other errands and couldn’t figure out what smelled so bad…. as another review said, this thing has such a strange smell! It’s cute, but not sure it’s worth the price.

I love my new little rattan dog!! I have him on my screened in porch with a little faux plant in him. I am sure he will make the rounds in my home. So many fun ways to feature him!

This item is so uneven it will not stand. I purchased the dog and alligator and both are the same. I even purchased a 2nd set hoping for better but they are also uneven. Cute concept but falls flat.

Too cute. I waited for this to release and ordered ASAP. It is too cute and holds alot of pens and pencils. It reminds me of my dog 💗
