Raw Elements Face and Body Mineral Sunscreen Tube - SPF 30 - 3 fl oz

I received my sunscreen order today I was so happy and excited it arrived on time for my family to use, yet so disappointed in the fact that I received an EXPIRED sunscreen!! such a disappointment !

Smell is awful. Not sure if it’s gone bad or normally smells like this but it’s not good

I didn't like how this smelled. It has a greasy smell. It felt smooth on my skin but takes awhile to rub in.

If you have REALLY dry skin (I do) this sunscreen is perfect! Lots of facial oil in this! No white cast, leaves a dewy, moisturized look. I used on my lips and hands too. Spreads well. No coconut, shea, or petrolatum for those of us with super-sensitive skin. Excellent product, new favorite.

It's a very clean formula but the smell is pretty bad and it leaves a white cast.

I am so disappointed with the new formulation. I have leaky skin--I taste whatever i put on it. The old formulation was the first sunscreen I could tolerate because it tasted good. The new formulation has some new scent that tastes awful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a mineral sunscreen that clocks in at 23% Zinc Oxide. I love so much about this sunscreen. 1st, it lasts for a full 80 minutes even in the hot sun and while swimming. 2nd, it's made with organic ingredients and without nasty synthetic chemicals. I can feel good about the whole family using this! It's Leaping Bunny Certified! 3rd, it's all around great sun protection. It's Zinc so obviously it's thick and there is a slight eucalyptus scent which I loved! I used it during 98° muggy weather while were swimming. I reapplied every 90 minutes and didn't burn my sensitive chest area or my nose. That's a win as far as I'm concerned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think as far as mineral sunscreens go this stuff isn't bad, but it still does not compare to the real stuff. It does work for a little while but does not offer full protection and wouldn't trust it doing much if you're going to be in the water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this product because I’ve been interested in more natural products lately. But right out of the tube it was thick and greasy feeling. I tried massaging the tube thininking it needed to be mixed up but it didn’t help. Went only like the thickest Halloween greasepaint you could imagine, and even when I rubbed it in super well it stayed on top of my skin. Took over an hour to even slightly dry down but still felt heavy on. I didn’t not enjoy it. I gave it 2 stars because it did its job and protected but I can’t imagine anyone would enjoy this feeling on their body, let alone their face. In the photo you can see how it looks like white Halloween face paint, and would not rub into my skin. I’m already pale and I still look dead, I can’t imagine this not making anyone darker look like a corpse.

It is safe for the environment and you and it is even organic. Only one thing I.don't like about this product is that you have to squeeze very hard to get the sunscreen out of the pouch. This sunscreen is better than the previous sunscreens that I used.

I am always looking for sunscreens that aren't too thick or have a high sunscreen odor. The Raw Elements smells great and so far has done the job, given I haven't notice my neck red all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was introduced to non-nano particle mineral sunscreens years ago after my first melanoma excision and always pleased when I find one made in USA. Yes, higher percentage of zinc oxide sunscreens are thick but if you moisturize beforehand, this seems to help. I rub the sunscreen between my hands to warm it up then pat my handprints along a limb then go over to rub it in. Wish they were easier to remove but double cleansing, either with an oil first or not, makes it easier. Raw Elements makes a quality product.

Love the use of multiple essential oils and no unnecessary ingredients. Smells really good also. It goes on like most mineral sunscreens, thick consistency. It kinda feels greasy even after application and that's the only thing I don't enjoy about it. Overall, a great product for the people that mind what they put on their skin!

I try to alway apply some type of product to my face that has an spf everyday bc i live in the south. The sun is Luke a deadly laser. I followed the directions and applied to my face with my morning routine. It worked great all day. It had a pleasant fragrance of a minty eucalyptus smell. The only con to this sunscreen was that it made my face look and feel oily. But at the end of the day, it did the job and protected my face from getting burned.

I love the company's environmental stand, but the odor really aggravates my asthma.
