I received my sunscreen order today I was so happy and excited it arrived on time for my family to use, yet so disappointed in the fact that I received an EXPIRED sunscreen!! such a disappointment !

Smell is awful. Not sure if it’s gone bad or normally smells like this but it’s not good

I didn't like how this smelled. It has a greasy smell. It felt smooth on my skin but takes awhile to rub in.

If you have REALLY dry skin (I do) this sunscreen is perfect! Lots of facial oil in this! No white cast, leaves a dewy, moisturized look. I used on my lips and hands too. Spreads well. No coconut, shea, or petrolatum for those of us with super-sensitive skin. Excellent product, new favorite.

It's a very clean formula but the smell is pretty bad and it leaves a white cast.

I love the company's environmental stand, but the odor really aggravates my asthma.

I like that this sunscreen has clean ingredients and minimal white-cast. I love how moisturizing it feels and how it looks mixed with my foundation. This product requires a double-cleanse to remove properly.

It is very thick but blends in after a while.

An independent lab, Valisure, recently announced its discovery of suncare products with harmful levels of benzene, a carcinogen known to cause Leukemia. Their report tested different batches of this product, some were free of benzene and some had benzene present. The full report and breakdown of safe and unsafe batches can be found on their website. Be careful when purchasing. Luckily I checked my bottle and the lot # and exp date were on the "not detected" list so I will continue to use until it is empty, but I will not purchase Raw Elements again.

I found the sunscreen to be very oily with an odd clumpy texture. It was also a very strong smell. I threw it away without using it.

This product is so protective!!! I applied once and was covered all day; I barely even got tan. It is extremely thick and leaves a slight white cast that can be rubbed in or it does fade, but it's 100% worth it knowing my skin is protected from the sun. If you are looking to avoid sunburn and use a non toxic product this is a no brainer. I didn't find it greasy at all (I only used on my body). It is expensive and runs out quick, but worth every penny for peace of mind.

Product is very greasy and has a gritty sandy texture. I have light to medium skin tone and white cast is very noticeable at first but eventually goes away after about twenty minutes, but my face remains very oily even though I have extremely dry mature skin. The oil just sits on top and does not absorb into the skin at all. Contrary to manufacturer’s claims, it does sting your eyes if you put it too close to them. The rosemary scent is overwhelming so if you’re sensitive to fragrance then stay away. Giving three stars due to good ingredients but I would not recommend this to anyone.

I bought this sunscreen on a whim because it seemed like a good price for the amount of sunscreen that you get. I had originally been using bare minerals but that sunscreen made my skin super dry. When I was reading that this sunscreen was more on the oily side I was hopeful that it wouldn’t dry me out but was also nervous because I have combination, acne prone skin. After a week of using this I have had no new breakouts and it doesn’t dry out my skin as much (the first day it did feel a little drying but I used a heavier moisturizer in the morning and that solved it). It is a VERY thick cream so you do have to spend sometime working it into your skin and it does leave a little bit of a cast until it absorbs fully. It also does leave an oily look for a bit as it absorbs but I just top it off with some powder spf for extra protection and to mattify my face. This product contains a lot of extra plant oils so make sure you read the ingredient lists to make sure there’s nothing your skin is reactive to before trying it!

Maybe it is just this batch or the ingredients settled, but the sunscreen I received was very oily. It seemed like the clear oils separated from the white solids. I tried kneading the ingredients together but it was difficult because of the shape of the tube near the top. The sunscreen was a white thick lotion that was covered in a shiny oil puddle. It does blend together into a clear shiny coating that, after a time, will eventually absorb in. For the body it may be good, but that's a bit too much oil that could travel around the eyes.

I really wanted to love this so bad but I have tend to have acne and when you put this on your face it’s EXTREMELY OILY I know it’s sunscreen but trust me it’s EXTRA oily. It takes over an hour to absorb in your skin. I also can’t find anything that says it’s non- comedogenic / non-clogging pores. I love that it’s non nano and tear free, I’m all about helping the planet and our coral reefs but I’m returning this hopefully they can make one that’s oil free PLEASE.

Love Raw Elements sunscreen! I have very fair skin as a redhead and this works so well on multiple levels. I have sensitive skin and normal sunscreen makes my skin feel irritated after long term wear, I usually cannot wait to wash it off. I am also super happy not to have to worry about all the chemicals absorbing into my skin as this is all natural. It goes on thick but absorbs well into the skin and does not leave any residue on clothes. Highly recommend!

I've purchased Raw Elements face +Body and I can tell this is the ultimate sunscreen ever.It leaves my skin clean, fres and fully protected. The smell is super nice, blends easily and is good for the planet. Give this nutrient formula a try.
