The best sunscreen. It is a little oily but it’s fine if you’re not wearing makeup or anything. It moisturizes the skin and has clean ingredients. I work outside and everyone thinks I’m much younger than I am, thanks to this sunscreen.

Smells so good. Herbally. Rub it in and it lasts while playing out in the water. Reef safe. No plastic.

Decided to try this item as it was rated well on the EWG site. Absolutely loved by everyone in our household. Will continue to purchase this brand. Rubs in well and sun protection was great! Highly recommend

Used this on a cruise to the Bahamas. It protected me well! Like other reviews mention, it is a bit hard to apply because of its waxy formula. A cream or lotion formula would make it a lot easier to apply. That’s the only bad thing I have to say about this product, compared to all the good it has. It’s reef friendly, has no marine harming chemicals in it, and uses non-nano zinc oxide which is a huge benefit I learned when I was on my research deep dive for a marine-friendly sunscreen.

I like that this company didn’t use plastic, and I like the way the sunscreen rubs in. The smell is… very hippie. One of the top ingredients is sunflower seed oil and I would blame that. I generally hate any strong smell and definitely didn’t love this, but it does fade soon after applying.

The absolute best. We have used this sunscreen for over 10 years. We used to only be able to get it at local surf shops during our beach trips, and now it’s at target! We use it on our face and we can go all day without reapplying, and not get burnt. This sunscreen has never let us down. It’s clean, good for sensitive skin, works especially for us red heads and always is our go-to. It’s not full of chemicals. It’s clean and reef friendly. The tins last us forever! Buy it! It’s amazing! 🌊🌴

Too darkly tinted for my lighter skin tone. Also, does not seem to offer enough sun protection when I use the amount that I can get absorbed in my skin. Using more would cause a oily orange buildup on my face. Sad it didn’t work - I really appreciate the recyclable packaging!

This is so unbelievably greasy and just sits on top of the skin. It smells great but is otherwise awful.

As someone who’s trying to reduce my plastic waste, this seemed like the perfect option for sunscreen. Unfortunately, it stings my sensitive skin, is very greasy, and leaves an intense white cast when the proper amount is applied (because I’m sorry, but everyone in the reviews saying “a little goes a long way” clearly has no idea how sunscreen application works). The white cast was mitigated when I applied the tinted version on top, but sadly that one stings too. I really wanted to like it, but sadly this was a fail for me.

Love the ingredients! Love how the tin makes it great for travel & toting in a beach bag. Love how it just melts into skin, no white cast! And it just causes you to tan lightly, never burn! I will always purchase this!

This sunscreen is super blotchy. Some areas it worked and others it didn’t. We all have super burned areas with random white spots where it did decide to work. Would not purchase again.

Love it and it's Yuka app excellent, natural with no harmful chemicals. Easy to use and not greasy. Good sun protection, of course like with all sunscreens you need to reapply every few hours when out in the sun or water all day. Only complaint is wish it was cheaper.

Yes, its a bit thicker but it rubs in well and does not leave a whitish cast. Its perfect protection for the sun. I use it for my kids and ourselves. It's love its nice creamy feel and its sustainable tin.

I wanted to love this because I’m trying to cut down on waste, but this leaves my face very greasy. I have to add setting powder on top to keep my hair from sticking to it, but this makes reapplication impossible.

We really liked this for use when we went to Hawaii, where using reef safe sunscreen is a must. In fact, we intend to continue buying this for us at home. It rubs in well and is easy to apply. It will last forever compared to a bottle of cream/sunscreen.

Great natural product! It rubs in easily and doesn’t have a strong smell. Kids aren’t complaining either which is rare in my house with creams! It leaves a very minimal white cast compared to other natural sunscreens. We also successfully avoided burns and with our extremely fair skin that is impressive! Will definitely purchase again.

I really wanted to love this but it leaves my face sticky the entire day, even with minimal application. It's really unpleasant and makes the product seem like it isn't actually made for the face. I love the packaging but I can't use it - money wasted.

I love love love that this is 100% natural normal ingredients, every single one of which I can identify and probably find at a health food store. However, it was not all I had hoped it would be. It is super super thick and nearly impossible to spread without modifying it in some way. For instance, if moisten my skin with water or lotion, then I can get it to spread much easier, and it does not leave white cast on my brown skin. Even so, once on it feels sticky, and the feeling does not go away. Ive only been using it on the back of my hands and forearms for everyday use. I absolutely wouldn’t wear it on the rest of my body because of the thick sticky feeling. Also, in case you are wondering, it smells like plants—not any one kind, just generally like plants. Anyway, I was all set to be in love with it, but I just think it needs to be thinner and much more spreadable.

This sunscreen did not work for me or my family. We got a bad sunburn after using this for the first time and we were outside for no more than an hour. Very disappointed.

I love that this sunscreen is toxic free, but I unfortunately learned the hard way that it stains clothing. Was hoping to use this as part of my everyday routine. Guess it’ll only be used at the pool away from any of my clothing. Still searching for that everyday non toxic sunscreen.
