submitted byJM - 6 years agoA: Yes they are dishwasher safe! Just make sure they are really secure in the top rack. They get a slight curing at the top if REALLY hot water is used.

A: (re)zips are safe for use in the freezer, however, they are not intended for use in the microwave, sous vide or high heat. Please make sure all hot foods have cooled before storing in your (re)zips.

These suck… I love the stashed brand, there is no fuss when it comes to closing the containers… These though are extremely difficult. They are flimsy and I followed the directions for washing on the top rack and still feel like they are ruined after one wash. GO STASHER BRAND.

Great quality long lasting reusable bags. If using the dishwasher, you’re not supposed to use extremely hot water or the certain cycle, so Follow/READ the instructions on the boxes and you will not have curing problem.

These are really nice bags if you don’t put them in the dishwasher. I put two in dishwasher and couldn’t re-zip them afterward. The others that I hand washed in pretty warm water were completely fine. They are great for the kids lunch and storing vegetables.

I wish I could give these bags 5 stars. They are good quality and fit sandwiches well. However, they are marked dishwasher safe and although the integrity of the bags are still intact, the zip is IMPOSSIBLE to close once they’ve been washed in the dishwasher! I DO NOT RECOMMEND WASHING THESE BAGS IN THE DISHWASHER!

These work great, are easy to clean, and fit a good amount of food. They’re just had to zip closed sometimes. You have to get it lined up just right and even then sometimes have to carefully pinch it little by little all the way along.

I may have gotten a bad batch so I won’t focus too much on the small imperfections that look like they could tear any second. That being said, more than half of these are extremely hard to actually zip. If you have any issues with pain in your hands, do not buy these. If you ever have cleaned storage bags before I am sure you are familiar with the method of flipping them inside out for easier cleaning the part the is the most “dirty” but these are nearly impossible to do that with. You can but it takes a long time and not worth the effort. They are dishwasher safe but I wouldn’t recommend it. They are such a pain to clean and dry no matter what but they just take up so much space in the dishwasher to get cleaned properly. I got 20 uses max with each bag before issues started happing, but that could have just been a really faulty batch. Still, I would not buy these again. Good idea but beeswax or jars do a better job.

I bought these because I didn’t want to spend the money on stasher bags. I should’ve just bought stasher bags. These are impossible to get clean by hand wash or the dishwasher and they’re really hard to open and close. They get gross and cloudy on the inside and doesn’t make me feel good about putting food in them!

We’ve used these for the past 6 months and they are still working well. We use them to send in to school with our kiddos for snack and in the fridge for cut up fruits and veggies. I have never put them in the dishwasher (we hand wash all plastic). They’re easy to clean in the sink and we turn them upside down to dry and it works perfect.
