Half of these broke in 2 months - do not recommend
It’s been 2 months of school and half of the bags in this 8-pack set are already broken or about to break. We only hand-wash these and they still don’t hold up. Poor quality. You also need to apply SO much pressure to close these — it’s hard to close the bags even as an adult…DEFINITELY too hard for a child to close shut. Once they finally close, you then need a lot of force to open them back up, which is probably why the “ziplock” part of the bags has been breaking. Definitely do not recommend. Bring back the Russbe brand, Target! Up & Up is not cutting it.

Not the best
We got these beginning of the school year so about 6 months ago. They’ve all broke. They’re hard to seal and open especially for an elementary age child. They all have separated at the seem where you “zip” it closed and the actual bag.

Disappointing
Really wanted to like these. However, washing is difficult. The packaging suggests the dishwasher could be used (bottom rack) but keeping them open in the dishwasher is a challenge. Gallon size won't fit at all. The way the bottom is constructed leads to two tight areas which are hard to clean by any means. This also restricts capacity - oddly, actual ziplock have a similar bottom construction, but expand which increases their useful capacity and would make them easier to clean. I can't speak to longevity of the closure as these factors really make these not fit for purpose, imo. I could clean and reuse an actual Ziploc freezer bag easier.

Dont bother
I really wanted to like these but they were a complete waste of money. The seam broke open when opened for the first time. This happened to three bags, one after the other. Through the entire box in the garbage because they weren’t even worth the time and energy to drive back to the store to return them. Buyer beware.

Unfortunately these did not live up to what I had hoped. They would not zip right after first wash on top rack of dishwasher as it says is ok. Did not use heat dry or high heat. Have had other brands that held up well in dishwasher, these did not make it through once. I cannot speak for handwash only.

Unable to close after dishwashing
I purchased cause I was able to try a sample one and liked how easily they closed. So bought a package, was able to easily open and close them however after running them through the dishwasher, top rack as per instructions, none of them will close anymore making them useless to me.

Impossible to close!
I bought these to try because Target no longer carries our favorite brand Russbe. These are impossible to seal no matter how many times I try to make it work! I only hand wash them, never dried in the dishwasher and I’ve never been able to close them easily. The Russbe brand was easier to close than a regular ziploc and never leaked. They are still my favorite reusable baggies due to how light they are and easy to clean! I prefer them over the heavy, thick silicone. I mostly use the snack size and they actually protect crunchy snacks that would usually get crushed in a lunch bag. Please bring this brand back!! These Up&Up ones don’t come close to how good the Russbe ones are.
