Clean the Makeupsaver Sponge by simply wiping the film side with a damp cloth after each use. As with all Real Techniques products, this beauty sponge is also 100% cruelty-free and vegan. *In a 30-day lab test, less than 10% of water-based makeup was absorbed.
Directions of Use:
Apply liquid or cream formula directly to your face or onto the fingerprint film side of the sponge. Gently dab the sponge across the face or under eyes to blend out makeup until the desired coverage is reached. Play all the angles by using the precision point under eyes or to reach targeted areas and using the larger flat surface for all-over blending. This sponge is best used dry to get the most out of your makeup. Pro tip: for an even more natural finish flip the sponge over and use the film-free side to blend out coverage even more!
Cleaning, Care, and Maintenance:
Wipe the film side with a damp cloth after each use. Replace every 30 days.

Dumbest product I've ever heard of
It's no better than a regular makeup sponge. First of all, makeup application has nothing to do with fingerprints, it's not fingerprints that make makeup application smooth, it's an actual finger, it's hard but bouncey, doesn't absorb makeup, you can actually feel the amount of pressure you're applying. And regular makeup sponges don't absorb much product if they're damp, it's not like they just soak up all your foundation. Anyway, this makeup sponge is ridiculous.

Not For Me!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makeup sponge is bleh. Nothing amazing about it. The smooth side didn't really do anything special. It holds true that it doesn’t absorb the makeup as much as other sponges do, but I just don’t notice anything different or better than other sponges. The fingerprint side feels odd, of course, but I don’t see it applied to my face any better. I wouldn’t buy it.

Great blender!

I like that the color is beige which makes it look less messy with my foundation on it. It feels quality and like it will last a while. I would definitely consider purchasing when this one gets old.

It does allow for less product to be used as it absorbs 90% less makeup. The textured side is easier to clean as all you have to do is give it a wipe to remove excess product after use. The other side is a regular makeup sponge, and it offers a lot of angles to help with even application.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The makeup sponge was like a normal beauty blender type sponge. Nothing extraordinary in that regard. The smooth side didn't really do anything special. It mentions it is supposed to not absorb the makeup as much as other sponges do. It did live up to that part. If your concerned about product build up on your sponges this might be something to checkout.

Wanted to like it more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makeup sponge is true to its word. It absorbs significantly less makeup than other sponges I have used. It works good on the “finger print” side but looks much smoother when applied on the other side. I love that one side is regular and the other side has different texture and angles to get in different areas better. This is easy to hold on to while applying foundation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The title says it all, I am OBSESSED with this sponge! I’ve used so many and they all feel like they’re just soaking up the makeup I’m putting on. This one makes it feel like I’m getting sooo much coverage out of a tiny bit of makeup because of the fingerprint technology. It goes on so smooth, so even. I will not be buying any other makeup sponge from here on out, I’m sold!
