A: No. The lid pushes down into the cup. It has a rubber seal.

A: While most consumers choose our products because of the patented lid design that is beverage temperature specific, they can be used interchangeably. We recommend Cold1 mugs as "Cold Only" as the lids were not designed to maintain a "leak-proof" seal with hot liquids and steam. If filled with hot liquids and tipped over, liquid can leak from multiple areas and be dangerous. Hot liquids will not destroy or hurt the product if used, but we still recommend this product as cold only. For hot liquids, we recommend our hot1 mugs.

A: The Hot1 lid and components are dishwasher safe. The lid includes two gaskets that can be removed for deep cleaning. One gasket is on the lid flap and the other gasket is around the diameter of the lid.

This is my second 18 ounce coffee mug that I have purchased. You would think I would have learned the first time, but I thought it was a fluke. The flip up top that seals the drinking hole has broke on both mugs. This means the coffee gets cooler and if you knock it over there is a mess! I would love a replacement lid that works without breaking. This mug is a great size. It has a light feel and the handle is perfect.

This mug is fine, I’ve had it for a year, but the lid after awhile became loose and doesn’t even stay on. The pink paint starting chipping too. I had to use a replacement yeti lid.

This is one of my favorite cups. I use it everyday and I have three of them. They fed perfectly in my cup holder in my car. I have not had issues with anything leaking or spilling. It does keep my drinks hot or cold depending on what I put in them. I did have one lid break at the hinge but it still closes. I do put them in the dishwasher. My only issue is the paint. It has peeled on two of the three cups so far. I wish I could just peel it all off because I find little chips of paint all over the place. I wish they would just make a version without any paint because I would probably buy several of them to replace the ones I have.

I fill it up in the morning and then sip on my coffee while working at my desk all morning. Perfect for keeping a hot mug of coffee. Unfortunately, I dropped it and broke the flip top. I would like to get a replacement part if it is available so I can keep on enjoying my morning coffee.

I like the cup although the coffee does not stay hot for six hours like it states, lucky if it stays warm for three hours. But I do like the size and shape. I also have a problem with the lid I wish it was easier to open, can be a little difficult to do one handed.

This has been my favorite cup for a year or two now. All around just simply well done. The lide is very useful and not as fragile as other brands. The handle is a great shape, the size is perfect for coffee. It is easy to clean including the lid.

I really like this mug. It’s durable, keeps things hot or cold, and is a lovely color (yellow). I hand wash it. It is getting a little chipped but overall I would recommend it.

This coffee mug is everything I need. It seals so well. If it’s closed correctly and you knock it over, it doesn’t spill. I love that I can vent it to cool down coffee or open the vent and use a straw for iced coffee. This keeps coffee hot or cold AND it fits in my cars cup holder. The soft bottle is also great because it doesn’t make a sound when I put it down. I definitely recommend handwashing only. The paint will start to peel off after a year or so in the dishwasher.

Bought this adorable cup in butter yellow. Unfortunately it is very hard to drink from. The lid doesnt let out enough coffee then you have to tip the cup in such a way that the liquid comes out as a gush and burns your tongue. Wish i could get a refund. Also, it does fit in my car cup holder vertically not horizontally- which makes that only one of the 2 cup holders can be used at once. Very disappointed.
