A: Yes. When you loosen the screw to adjust the height, the shade can be adjusted right or left.

Great Idea for a Lamp, but...
I was so excited to get this lamp. I love the design...the flexibility to be able to adjust the height and swing the arm. But it is so much larger than I expected and very heavy. The weight of the arm is too great for the base so it tilts a little bit and doesn't quite stand straight up and the base does not sit flat on the table top.

Not a touch lamp
I wanted a touch lamp so I added "touch" to the filter. When I saw this I thought it was perfect for my needs. Except it's a scam. This isn't a touch lamp. They just pretended it was so it would appear in more searches.

Most beautiful adjustable height desk lamp I have found. Great price too!
Great item. I love that I can extent it high so it clears my work monitors. I use it with a dimmer to supplement the switch on it. It looks amazing and really makes my office feel warm and classic. Cheers!

Nice Quality
Nice quality classic looking lamp. The size is a bit bigger than we had planned but it still works well. It is nice that we can put a standard size screw base light bulb in it.
