Lamp is lovely and I'm glad that I bought it.However, the dimmer switch is not usable. The switch itself is very lightweight and the cord is very heavy duty. When the cord is plugged in and the dimmer switch is on the top of a table/nightstand, the weight of the cord pulls the switch off the table top. I am returning the dimmer switch.
