A: I've a long history (30 years) of cycling yeast and bacterial infections. When one was treated, the other became an issue. Since I started using this product about three years ago, I've maintained my balance and had no need for medical intervention, nor am I using any over-the-counter yeast or anti-bacterial products. It seems ridiculous that something so small could make such a significant difference, but it really did for me. I wish I would have known about this or a doctor would have recommended it decades ago.
A: I got BV twice within the last year. My gynecologist recommended this so I think you can use it.
A: This answer is late but I had BV twice and was determined not to have to use the harsh medicine I was prescribed for a third time. I used this probiotic and ate greek yogurt twice a day. Not saying that it is a cure but helped a lot.
A: While RepHresh™ Pro-B™ Probiotic Feminine Supplement is clinically shown to balance yeast and bacteria to maintain feminine health, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider for specific health conditions.
A: Bacterial Vaginosis... caused by bacteria. Probiotics aren't geared toward that. This definitely helps control YI, but not BV.
A: You don't have to take it daily. I took one pill a day and ate greek yougurt twice a day. I personally do not like to take a lot of medicine or supplements so I used a testing strip to test my Ph and once it was back to normal I stopped and my Ph has been fine ever since(I also have not had any yogurt lately)
A: I take it to control odor and it works well. If I run out and don't take it for a while, the issue returns so I use it daily.
A: It may if you are strictly dairy-free, because this has milk (gelatin is listed as well) in it. This product helped me but I try to use vegan products whenever possible. I had switched to RAW 50 billion but then realized (I'm bad at reading labels BEFORE buying things) it has egg in it, so I then switched to Renew Life 25 billion, which looks by the ingredients list to be safely animal-free. (Also, gluten-free)
A: No stomach issues for me -- if anything, they helped improve the digestive process. I think after a couple of decades of anti-bacterial drugs, I'd probably killed so many good bacteria that my digestive system wasn't working properly. I noticed a positive change once I started taking this then and added additional strains of probiotics to improve digestion further.
A: We apologize for the delayed response, Tangela. These capsules are best used within 90 days of opening, and before expiration date. Keep capsules in bottle, with the cap closed between uses. The expiration date is ink stamped on both the box, and the bottom of the bottle.
