It doesn’t fade into green or any weird color, isn’t blue toned or red, it’s just a true jet black. I have always heard revlon black hair dye was the best and trust me when I say, my biggest hair regret was never trying it until now. A godsend!

I have black hair, and I can see the burgundy color popping. My hair feels smooth and healthy, looking after rinsing my hair and conditioning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scent is repulsive like some other hair dyes. My mom's hair is softer and shiner than it was before applying this product. I like that it is all in one package and not a huge unnecessary box. It was simple enough to apply, but I hate the squeeze bottle. When you get to the bottom of the bottle with a little bit of dye left, it won't come out and gets stuck in the bottle. It did give a good amount of coverage for gray hair, but we left in even longer than it says and still had some grays poking through. Maybe that was a user error, but I'm not sure. It is a nice box dye. She has fine hair, and it is just under her shoulders, and it didn't cover every inch of her hair, so she would need two boxes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Revlon has always been my go-to box dye- it’s affordable, it works great and they have so many different shades to choose from. You can see in the before picture that I had a decent amount of regrowth; unfortunately I have been going gray since my 20’s, so this is pretty routine for me. I will say that I noticed the formula is a bit more watery than normal- you’ve got to be quick during application. I used a brush to help catch the drips. I did also notice the bottle getting warm which concerned me, but nothing happened. The scent of the conditioner is also different- I prefer the original scent to be honest. All in all, this works great! Covered my grays and looks natural!
