It's a very nice metal lighter. Visually appealing and can be left out without any afterthought. The take away is it's practical use. This is designed for wide open candles. It has limited reach so anything else really is a one time light and then it can't reach it.

It caught my eye...very unique! It works well. I tip the candle jar (3) wicks and it is working for me these few days now. I noted the lights on when I press the engage button and few minutes later it shuts off automatically. I am happy with it. (Long handle butane lighters have gone up in prices). I purchased it because charging via usb hopefully saves me money!

Works fine but once your candle starts melting and getting lower in the jar - it becomes impossible to maneuver the lighter to get it close enough to the wick to get a flame. This also creates fire marks on the side of the gold tarnish. I’ve only had it for one day and am not too impressed. I would recommend a longer lighter to use for deep candles not this one.

It worked fine for a few days, and then it stopped turning on and won't take a charge. Now it's completely useless. For $20 I had hoped that it might outlast a $1 lighter, but unfortunately I underestimated modern corporations' proclivity for planned obselesence.

Do not be fooled by this product. It looks nice, but mine broke within the first few tries. My money went down the drain on this one. I actually got scared when the lighter was stuck being turned on. I would suggest looking somewhere else for a decent rechargeable lighter.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Completely useless unless your plan is just to use it for decoration. Its shape does not allow you to light anything. Save yourself 20 dollars because this is not even worth 5.

I bought this not realizing that it didn’t have an actual flame hence it’s impossible to light any candles that are burned down at all. I haven’t seen the longer version I’ve seen in pictures available yet but this one will be going back until then!
