Ribbon Wood Wall Clock - Umbra

If you like the design, it's a great wall-clock. I imagine the mechanism inside is a common, cheap, China-made one, but no problem with that as long as it's accurate. I just installed it in my son's apartment, so I cannot comment yet on accuracy. I did have a problem with it: it came with no wall screw to attach to. Of course, most people should not have a difficulty finding a screw, but the "ear" through which the attachment screw head should go is very small, and only a bit wider than the groove through which the screw post goes, so it was very had to find a screw/nail thick enough for the groove (and strong enough to be stable on the wall), but with a head small enough to fit through the "ear". Probably my son will have to change the battery, when it runs out, through the metal "ribbons", while on the wall, as removing it may take the screw out of the wall also.

I really like it !! Feels well made , makes no ticking sound while keeping time , looks very modern and stylish. A ltouch on the expensive side for a wall clock but regardless im vey happywith my purchase. Thank you Umbra !!!

The design would work well in any space - it is beautiful! I have other clocks that constantly need new batteries; besides looking great it keeps time perfectly and I can't remember the last time I changed the battery! It is also silent as opposed to other clocks with annoying ticking sounds. Highly recommend.

Modern look that runs perfectly. Handle the arms with care because if they bend, it's difficult to straighten them out, which will affect the operation of it. Holding the clock from the back is best.

I bought this beautiful wall clock about a year ago. I got it in shiny coppper. I love its mid century styling. It is very light weightand is held into my sheetrock wall with a simple pushpin thumbtack. As a bonus the stylish clock is quiet. You won't be disappointed.

I had seen this over a year ago when I was making a different purchase on a Umbra and saved it. When my old kitchen clock went out & a new battery wasn't going to help, I immediately ordered this clock. Cool design of black with stainless works well with my contemporary look throughout my home, especially in the kitchen with stainless blinds in the window below. Have many other items saved, looking to add more Umbra products.

I love my new clock. I ordered it in black. It looks very sharp on the wall beside a black framed picture. For years I lived with early american furniture and accessories. Now that I have moved to an apartment in a new state, I am glad I am leaning towards contemporary.

I bought the bronze, and I love that it’s different, not the ubiquitous round clock. As others have mentioned, the black hands are difficult to see against the dark bronze but I love it regardless.
