Doesnt kill the eggs
We used it and combed through the hair twice - very carefully and tediously and had baby lice back the next day. Our local lice treatment place said these treatments are rarely completely effective.

Great to have on hand for lice protection.
This is one of those products that nobody likes to buy but is great to have on hand. If you have young children, eventually you will need this product. I trust RID products. They work great at eliminating lice the first time and now these kits do even more. My favorite feature was the super max home control spray. You’re able to spray items that you cannot easily wash and this helps control and get rid of lice in your home. Highly recommend for parents of young children.

“I received these products for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review.” I would say, it’s not bad. But I don’t like the feel of its texture while I’m trying to use. Maybe that’s how it should be. Worth a try.

Definitely recommend
As I was applying the oil like shampoo on my daughter’s scalp, immediately the little critters started anxiously coming out (like they couldn’t grasp to the hair). Thankfully, my daughter had just started with lice. Only 2 adult lice came out. I applied the treatment 7 days later as it’s recommended on the instructions and no more critters came out. Definitely recommend.

STOP and USE THIS PRODUCT! You will not regret it!
I was devasted when I found out my daughter "gulp" got lice. My daughter has beautiful long curly hair and we thought it was time to cut her beautiful hair. This product was recommended to us and before we took drastic measures, we decided to give this a try and I am so thankful we did. The application process was easy, and the product WORKED! We were able to save her hair and she is lice free! I highly recommend this!! It was a life saver for us!

The only one necessary
This is the one. Do not get NIX. It’s a mess and it’s so oily. For context I had purchased this one and used it on my 6 year old and I could wash her hair without shampoo and it was effective and left the hair soft and shiny. The NIX took half a bottle of shampoo, some dawn soap, and three washes for the hair to be left still oily but manageable. I was able to get 7 lice out of my younger daughters hair with the rid and only found 2 with the NIX on my ten year old. So please listen for any parent struggling with this gross and annoying problem, Rid will make it a little less annoying.

Good product
So far I thankfully haven't had to use this product but I'm hoping that it's the same quality of the other products from RID. I have heard great things about the products the make. I will say that this product comes with easy to read and follow instructions & everything you need is in the box. It's an all in one kit that is even safe to use with pets in the house.

If you were finding yourself reviewing this product because you need it, just do yourself a favor and buy this. You definitely need it and it works.
This stuff is amazing. I was losing my mind over this lice. But this stuff was super easy to use on the kids and it got rid of the issue very quickly which was a huge relief to a crappy situation. If you ever find yourself in this situation we highly recommend using this.

No chemical smell
The shampoo is a yellow liquid that doesnt have a chemical smell. A bit runny so be careful a little goes a long way. Doesn't irritate or sting the scalp. You do need to shampoo twice to get it completely off but it gets the job done! The spray doesn't have a strong smell either and sprays with a fine mist. The lice pick is excellent really fine so helps gets everything out.

Good product and does what’s intended! Comes with a lice comb, shampoo and a spray which can be used on mattresses and couches! I love how it’s a multi use product and helps with not only the hair but anything that lice and lice eggs can be hiding in. Also safe for use around pets!

If your in need this works good!
This stuff works pretty well my only complaint was that it dries your hair out. My hair felt very stringy after. This definitely kills anything in your hair to where you do not havento worry about anything else and just pull the nits out.

Obliterates nasty lice!
RID Super Max 5-in-One Hair & Home Complete Lice Treatment Kit is really nice. This kit has everything needed to absolutely obliterate lice. It features a comb, the shampoo, and a spray. It even helps control lice on non washable surfaces! I would highly recommend!

Lifesaver!
This product has been an absolute lifesaver! My daughter's came come with lice. I tried the regular treatments and it didn't seem to work. So when I received this,RID Super Max 5 in 1, I immediately used it and right away, it worked like a charm. So now I keep a spare box just in case it's needed for emergencies.

We’ve had a couple instances with my daughter coming home with lice after having sleepovers with friends. It’s extremely frustrating to say the least. The lice shampoo is easy to use and must be applied to dry hair. My daughter mentioned to me that she was afraid that others would be able to smell it in her hair but it’s honestly not that strongly scented. We ended up using the entire bottle on her hair (she has long hair with a medium thickness). The shampoo is a small, 3.4 oz. bottle. The most tedious process is combing through the hair to remove the nits. The comb doesn’t quite run through the hair easily and found it easier to use my own wide tooth comb first. The spray is useful for spraying the mattress (or any other items that can’t be laundered).

Looks easy
Thankfully, I have not had to use thisbyet but the directions look easy. Its great that it has a home spray and treatment all in one package. Super convenient. I am hoping not to have to use it but with two kids in school, you never know. Just glad i am prepared.
