Clear and Bright Visual Experience!!
Love this spotlight!! Purchased for my body-spying father in law.. The joy i felt seeing him get lit up when he was trying to creep on my porch unannounced. Parking down the street and coming across my yard does nothing now. This light is so bright it has kept him at bay and now he has to think of reasons as to why unnatural night visits are needed. Battery life is strong. And the visual camera feed is clear. This is going to be perfect for court at my divorce hearings. Can’t say this Live view is AI!!

Decent, but not the best.
This is extremely sensitive, but you can change the settings. At times the video will report inaccurate events, and the battery does not last as long as I hoped. I do appreciate I can have two batteries in the unit, and the replay and talk back function is decent. The view and clarity is great, and I haven’t had issues with the app outside of difficulty adding new cameras to an established account.

Definitely one of the best purchases I made. It took 6 weeks for the ring camera to discharge, I get a notification on my phone when somebody crosses the street or when I have a package or a visitor. Amazing!!

Great deal and security
Live our ring camera! The audio and video quality are super good in both day and night. The battery lasts a good time and if you get a solar panel for it it’s amazing. The app is easy to use and navigate and even helped me find out missing dog.

Battery not great
This gets the job done but the battery definitely drains. We are going to have to look at possible using a solar panel for it. Wish I woud've gotten the hardwired version (if it is offered) but it didn't work in the area I needed it. I've had some connectivity issues as well but nothing major.

Having longevity in a battery-powered security device is crucial when it comes to monitoring your home, especially if you are away for long periods of time. We are here to provide you with some education to resolve the battery life issue you mentioned in your review. It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. There are some troubleshooting steps that you can take to ensure that you have your device set up for optimal battery-life performance. The more events captured by your Ring devices, the more your battery is used. Using "Live View" can also drain your battery faster. If your device is capturing an excessive number of events each day, you may need to recharge your battery sooner. To prevent excessive activity, under "Motion Settings" for your device in the Ring app, you can: Adjust your "Motion Sensitivity" slider to a lower sensitivity. Redraw your "Customizable Motion Zones." Change "Motion Frequency" to regularly or periodically. You could also adjust the direction of your Ring device so it doesn't detect as much motion. You can go to "Power Settings" in the Ring app to see what features may be draining your battery. To access "Power Settings," open the Ring app: Tap the menu (≡) on the top left of the dashboard. Tap "Devices." Tap the individual device (video doorbell or security camera) you want to check. Tap "Power Settings" to check your "Battery Level" percentage and "Feature Power Usage." Tap a feature to adjust "Snapshot Capture," "Motion Frequency," and "Video Recording Length.". We recommend using the Ring Solar Panel to assist with extending the life of the battery in your Ring Spotlight Cam Pro. The Ring Solar Panel for the Ring Spotlight Cam Pro is a solar power source that can be mounted behind your Ring device. With just a few hours of direct sunlight per day, it can keep your Ring Spotlight Cam Pro fully charged in most cases. Ring Spotlight Cam Pro does offer wired and plug-in devices as well. I set up the camera on my front porch and it tells be when a person is near. The pictures are clear. I can talk to the person with the camera. I can use my phone to set off an alarm or turn the spotlight on. Great quality camera.

The ability to specify the areas is great too. It doesn’t pick up and unnecessarily movement like trees blowing in the wind. The Birds Eye view is really nice too, you can see which direction the movement is coming from.

The picture and sound are clear and the spot light is awesome when coming home late, it light up the driveway. Being new to Rign products I was even more impressed that they give you the first 30 days of monitoring and recording free. The app is also super easy to use and allow us to keep an eye on our property easily. Great product and we can't wait to add more.

Ring just really outdid themselves with this. Crystal clear picture which is what you want in a camera. Extremely well made and very easy to install. I will be buying 3 more for around the rest of the house perimeter. I definitely recommend

Security at its best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was easy to setup, I can be at peace at work knowing I can monitor my home while I'm away and I get notifications as soon as movement is detected, I can hear what's going on and talk through it if I need to. Love that I can do so many things at the tip of my fingertips. Convenient and provides security and peace of mind.

Also if I know someone will be outside I can snooze the camera so I don’t get notifications over and over.
