cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus),cough that lasts or is chronic such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema.
Do not take more than 6 doses in any 24-hour period. Measure only with dosing cup provided. Keep dosing cup with product. ml = milliliter. This adult product is not intended for use in children under 12 years of age.

20 ml every 4 hours.Children Under 12 Years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Robitussin Maximum Strength Elderberry Cough + Chest Congestion DM when I came down with a bad cough, and it really helped. The syrup worked quickly to calm my chest congestion and loosen up mucus, making it easier to breathe. I also liked that it has an elderberry flavor instead of the usual strong medicine taste—it’s a nice touch and not overly sweet. I took it as directed, and within a couple of days, my cough was noticeably better. Overall, it’s effective, soothing, and a great go-to when cold symptoms hit hard.

This is actually really delicious and works well! It is the same exact product as the original but just a different flavor, which is elderberry. It is easy to take and i love it.

waste of money
It doesn't taste as bad as Nyquil. It may have redused some phelm but it did nothing for my cough and it gave me a terrible headache.

Hard to find but excellent results!
Nagging residual cough from a Christmas cold and bronchitis. Finished all meds + inhaler, still cough persisted (small amount of much present). Did every home remedy - hot tea w/honey, Vick’s w/heating pad and fresh lemon boil. Completely Mucinex for 5-days and usually it heals. Nonetheless, went to doc last week and was told to wait it out seven more week YIKES!!. Did research and this product was recommended. Searched all over - box drug stores have almost no Robitussin products but an enormous supply of Mucinex. My sister finally found product at a local grocery store. Took first dose two hours ago…mucus dried up and cough is very minimal. I have high hopes that I’ll have relief within next 24-hours.

Natural is better

I hate the fake flavors with medicine and the elderberry was a great choice as far as flavoring goes. It does the job, tastes better and is more natural. I’ll definitely grab this for future cold and flus.
