Robo Alive Dino Fossil Find S2

The slime smells so strong I had to open a window and threw it in the garbage. Non-toxic my hiney. It’s very toxic smelling. Not something I want my kids playing with.

The slime smelled so bad that my eyes watered immediately after opening. The dinosaur falls apart super easily.

Horrible horrible horrible chemical smell do not buy this what a waste of money and the way it put together to then assemble it’s honestly horrible

Honestly I wish I could give this 0 stars. When I opened the bags they have an insane chemical smell like acetone, I thought maybe it’s just the slime or sand but it’s the Dino parts itself. My son is so disappointed we had to throw it away. It’s a waste of money for sure.

I've opened several slime/sand containers, including 2 other dino versions, but this Robo Alive has the worst chemical smell I've ever experienced. I thought there was actually something wrong with it so I threw away the slime. But now as I read the other reviews it's actually absurd that it actually is the smell.

This toy has to be dangerous. Half of my house smells like some awful chemical after owning this "toy" it's absolutely a health risk to your child to let them oldy with whatever chemicals are in here. Shame on the manufacturer for marketing this absolute trash to little children.

This toy has a strong toxic odor i highly doubt it is safe to kids to play with. Anyone with little kids around should be especially careful they don't put anything in their mouth including hands after touching it

The dinosaur keeps coming apart. Poor material and quality

This didn’t last long… thought this would be an activity to keep my lo busy but it ended up being more of a hassle. 1. It smelled terrible 2. The Dino keeps falling apart, I superglued the legs on it so he’d stop getting angry at it. 3. It took about 5 mins to get everything out. It just wasn’t worth the trouble.

Got no head. My 6 year old got it for his birthday and enjoyed all the aspects and then bam. No head.

The smell is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! there was no "digging" besides the little clay rock for a tiny face. I really can't believe this can be sold with the horrible smell. It would be compared to paint thinner smell. I wish I could get a refund but everything obviously is open!

As others have said, this smells SO BAD and the Dino just falls apart. 100% do not recommend.

Literal junk. Save your $15 for something else for your child. I purchased for my son and it looked fun with all the interactive parts and little tool. The Dino fossil sand dig was ok but very small. The slime was the worst slime I’ve ever encountered and we’ve bought a lot of slime in our time. It will not come off your hands or the toy so o spent 10 minutes with 100 paper towels wiping my hands and the toy pieces. The kinetic sand part was lackluster. There was 2 ounces of sand floating around wrapped pieces of toy. Not much of a hunt there. Lastly constructing the toy was sad. It’s flimsy plastic and the pieces won’t stay together! The only thing the dino does as a robot is make a repetitive roar sound. I know it’s only $15 but it could at least stay in one piece when you put it together. Only redeeming thing for my son was the little tool which I’m sure he will keep forever.

Terrible smell in all three parts. The three bags inside were no good. The kinetic sand was all dry, so the fossil was just sitting next to the sand. The good fell right off its fossil parts. And the solid rock was impossible for my son to remove, so he just scratched at it for half an hour until I could pry out the head piece. The pieces are terrible quality, so none of them stick together. All around terrible purchase. Most of the toy goes in the trash, so it’s just an awful waste in the end.

I am no stranger to surprise Dino eggs as my son has literally 15 of them of various brands. The sand and slime that come with this one have an absolutely HORRIFIC chemical smell to them. It far exceeds any other stinky sand/slime we have. I actually can’t believe this is on the shelves. My son opened the sand in the dining room and I could smell it before even entering the room. Unfortunately I had to make him throw it away because it cannot be safe for anyone to mess with or breathe in. Absolutely terrible!!

Chemical smell so awfully strong, it's scary! The paint on the fossil flakes off, leaving the little red flake everywhere. Legs don't hold - keep falling out. I used to think that buying in Target (instead of ordering on Amazon) gives a hope of some sort quality control from a safety perspective... apparently not.

Did not stay together. Poor quality

This was the worst. I picked it up on a whim for my son’s Easter basket, but he only just got around to trying it out. The slime was terrible, sticks on you and everything then it’s hard to get off. The toy dinosaur looks cool, but the limbs don’t stay on! They just fall right off. Waste of money.
