Hi bought this a few weeks ago first time I tried it as the reviews were good on this product as I am in my early 50s always looking for a good product but after trying this for first time my face was tingly so had my doubts but on trying it a second time I took a reaction to it and my face was blotchy and tender and itchy for days so I am very dissatisfied as it isn’t cheap so still looking but that’s me with just normal skin

I have tried a few different types of retinol creams and serums and unfortunately this is one of those that leaves your face feeling sticky. The scent is also more intense than it should be. I much prefer the texture/feel of Oil of Olay Retinol 24.

I like the product. I have seen a improvement in my complexion however it is hard to tolerate the smell. After 1 week I had to give it to my husband who may not be able to tolerate it either. Disappointing for a cream that does the job.

I bought this a few months ago and noticed that the cap flakes on my hands and they transfers to the face when serum is applied. My product does not have a pump but a roller with a cap and the silver cap is what flakes like glitter.

Scent is earthy, clay-like to me. Very smooth texture. I honestly can't say for its effectiveness on wrinkles, but personally I feel it helps my oily skin less oily and the splotchy red patches less inflamed and irritated. Overall it seems to have evened out my complexion, turning oily, pimple laden skin to clear, dewey skin. With its higher price tag, I can't help but feel a pit in my stomach when I can't pump anymore out and the narrow bottle won't let me scoop the last of it from the bottom and sides

Very sticky, and the scent is not nice at all. I would have kept it even with the bad scent but the stickiness is not tolerable for a product that isnt even on the cheaper end of drugstore make up. Will be returning this and sticking to the cerave resurfacing retinol.

I have been using this retinol for about five years. I’m 37. Before that I used another brand since my 20s. ROC works! The improvement to skin tone and texture is noticeable and I’m happy to say I regularly get compliments on my skin! I recently tried to use tretinoin and switched back to ROC because I actually feel it does a much better job.

Gave me SEVERE dry eye within 1.5 months of using it once every other day. No I did not put it super close to my eyes just on my cheek area. There is zero warning for this side effect. I only found it out through outside research and eye doctor visits and by that point it was too late. Permanent damage to my eyes.

The smell! The SMELL!! Why?? If they could just make this fragrance free I would be a customer for life. But no. They have to add this really awful floral fragrance that smells like a third grade school teacher in 1965. It’s terrible. And this is why we can’t have nice things!
