A: This happens to a lot of people, me included. My Face can hold up to RX Retinol 0.5% but not on my neck. I tried this Retinol Stick thinking because it wasn’t RX it would be less “itchy” & not feel burnt. NOPE. I guess I just can’t use retinol on my neck !

Q: Does this cause any problems when makeup is applied after applying the roc stick? (Foundation streaks, cause makeup to not set properly, etc)

A: Rule of thumb is to only use retinol at night and always use sunscreen with spf 50. Minimum spf 30-35 is acceptable. Make sure to reapply sunscreen if you sweat

A: Rule of thumb is to use vitamin c during the day and retinol only at night. Do not use both together unless your skin has built up tolerance.

Q: Rub it and spead over skin? I can't imagine I am to roll this over the entirety of my face and neck. The product doesnt really lend itself to be able to rub in like a lotion or cream. Did I misunderstand and this is for targeted areas only?

Not a HUGE difference, but then I have lost some weight in my face and I am in my late sixties😬, so I can’t expect too much! I feel it has lessened the saggy looking skin a bit and my face looks smoother, so I am very happy with this product.

Do NOT use if Sensitive Skin- I literally got BURNED.
I have been using RX Retinol (Tretinoin 0.05%) for 2 years ONMY FACE & It’s amazing. But I cannot use it on my Neck as it’s ultra sensitive. I thought I’d try this OTC Retinol since it has less Retinol and can be sold without RX. After about 5 to 7 minutes, I had that familiar BURNING SENSATION. I ran to grab a Face Cloth and put it under cold water. I gently rubbed the serum off and left the cold face cloth on my neck. I got Burned! I am not Retinol Naive. I know to use a little bit at first. My Dermatologist gave me the entire rundown as well as my Pharmacist. I see the results are fabulous for some. I wish I could use it on my neck ! I would love to try it on my face on the off days of the RETIN A, but I’m too afraid! 3 stars for being a good product for OTHERS. I’d say stay away if you have sensitive skin. I’m so bummed out as it was $$$ even at Target.

I Had a Bad Skin Reaction – Use With Caution
I used the RoC Derm Correxion Firming Serum Stick for two days, applying it to my neck. Unfortunately, I developed an allergic reaction: intense itchiness (pruritus) all around my neck. I stopped using it three days ago, but the reaction still hasn’t healed. . I was really hopeful about this product given its promises of firming and smoothing, but this reaction has been quite severe. I’d urge caution for those with sensitive skin or susceptibility to allergies.
