Q: What makes these different than other pet blankets? How are they different than the training pads?

A: Hi, While many blankets are described as "waterproof", our blankets are different because they truly have a waterproof layer between the top (fleece) and bottom (faux suede) layers of fabric. They not only provide a soft and light surface for pets, but they're meant to protect surfaces from drool, spills and accidents. Any liquid that falls on the surface beads up and stays there (so be careful lifting up the blanket if there's a big spill or accident!). Our washable training pads are also waterproof and prevent liquid from seeping through, but they are absorbent (unlike the blankets) and made of a different fabric (that is soft, but not warm or fluffy). Used for the boat. Stayed damp but it didn’t a great job as a shade spot for the pup. Very soft, didn’t stink and comfortable. This is a small, great for a lap dog size. But definitely recommending for multiple uses. From a hey bullseye reviewer

This little blanket is so soft and fuzzy. It feels similar to a soft baby blanket. My lil rescue pup loves this blanket in her kennel. Unfortunately, she did attempt to remove the tag from the blanket so it now it has a hole.

The rocket & rex Waterproof blanket comes in very handy for my senior dog. He has one particular dog bed that he likes to sleep on throughout the day and he sometimes has accidents. I put this blanket on top of his bed to help protect his bed from those accidents. It is a lot easier to wash this blanket compared to finding a washing machine big enough to fit his bed. This blanket is soft on both sides with the waterproof material in the middle making it soft and cozy for your furry friend.

My cat loves it! So perfect for laying on her favorite spot on my couch so my couch stays clean! She loves to make biscuits on it and purrs! It washes up great too! I love that it’s Oeko-Tex and tested for harmful chemicals. I will be getting more of these!

The rocket & rex waterproof pet throw is perfect for my cat. He lives in an enclosed patio area so the warmth and softness is just what he needs. He goes to it immediately when he is ready to take a nap. I have laid it over a pillow and it protects the pillow from dirt and dampness too. Highly recommend!

My cats always curl up on the same spots on the couch so I usually have a regular fleece blanket there, but when I wash it it never seems to quite lose all the cat hair its accumulated. It's nice to now have something that is meant for this purpose! Protects my furniture and I don't have to sacrifice a blanket.

This is so soft, my dogs love it! I have two miniature dachshunds and one LOVES being under blankets so we always have one handy. He’s almost 12 and sometimes accidents happen, so this will come in handy being that it’s waterproof.

Reversible faux suede and sherpa fabric makes it super soft and perfectly comfy for my dog. The size small is great for my dachshund. I love that it is waterproof and easy to clean. Both my dog's and my children love to cuddle up with it!

Our little cat loves to sleep on our hamper, or not-yet-put-away clothing. It's a little annoying because he gets shair all over the clean clothes. But now he loves this new mat! As soon as I put it down he came over and cuddled up on it. So now he is comfy and we are happy.

This is such a great product for any pet owner. Our pups have a soft and cozy spot with a waterproof bottom. It’s very lightweight and easy to wash for the next use. It’s also a great product because it’s something that can easily travel with you and your pup!

This is a well made dog blanket. My goofy dog uses it in his bed, because he loves to lay on extra blankets. I like that this isn’t a cutesy blanket and it’s easy to wash, especially after he gets it all slobbery chewing his bone, lol.

Like the title says, my cats love their new mini blanket. The fluffy side is soft and perfect for kneading. The flip side is rougher, but this keeps it from sliding off the bed. It washes well. The fluffy side is still soft, and I didn't notice any shrinking or warping. I will be buying more of these. I am very happy with them.

I love this waterproof blanket for my pup. I have been using it on the couch to protect it, and just started using it in my puppies crate. I fold it in half for her crate. It is so soft. It really does hold pee or water from it. I have the gray color, which looks nice with any furniture. The one side is suoer soft, the other side is like a suede leathery material.

I haven’t had the opportunity to use this yet, but I plan on doing so for our next road trip with our pup. I like the color of the blanket and the material is softer than I expected it to be. The size is pretty perfect as well

The most perfect small waterproof blanket that isn’t too warm. This blanket fits perfect in my dogs crate. The material is super soft and my dog loves to lay on it already. You can flip it to either side depending on your preference.
