Royalists & Roundheads I Board Game

ROYALISTS & ROUNDHEADS features four of the most important battles of the English Civil War: Justice Mills, Kilsyth, Marston Moor, and Naseby. The war led to the creation of the New Model army, the model for the British army until the dawn of the twentieth century, and the battles were the testing ground for guns -- the new weapons of destruction.This game, first in the series, uses an innovative command system. Leaders are rated for command, initiative and combat. Weapons range from pikes, bows, lances to muskets and artillery. Each of the four battles can be played in 1-1/2 to 3 hours, with the possibility of any one side scoring a sudden, automatic victory.
