Roughneck totes are recommended to be stored indoors in temperatures no lower than 0 degrees F and no higher than 110 degrees F. A: Yes, but the contents will be warm/hot depending on outside temps. If they are in sunlight for extended periods, they will suffer sun damage just like anything else. They become brittle and prone to cracking. Ask me how I know. After losing several to sun damage I chose to cover them with a tarp that had UV protection.
A: You can, but not recommended for a long time.
A: Depends on the size of the pests. I frequently find stink bugs in my totes but they are stored in a shed not indoors as suggested.
