Rust-Oleum Imagine Glitter Spray Paints are designed to provide a sparkling, shimmer finish to any craft, scrapbook or decorative project. The buildable formula creates a multi-dimensional look and works best when used over a base coat of similar color. For additional flake and fade protection, top all colored glitter sprays with Rust-Oleum Imagine Clear Glitter Sealer.

A: Happy to help. To remove the child safety cap on Rust-Oleum Imagine Spray Paint, insert a flat head screw driver in the notch at the base of the cap, gently twist the screwdriver and the cap will pop off. Do not force the screwdriver into the opening. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 6

Glitter topper, photos deceiving
You will need a base coat of a solid gold. This is more of a topper than anything. The can was also leaking and the cap was difficult to remove. You'll need multiple coats.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product. We do a lot of crafts at our house. We used this paint several times for different projects. The glitter was really beautiful and stayed on the surfaces well. I would recommend this brand and product.

It's Okay
It’s pretty! And very sparkly but you can’t use this can by itself as the main coat. You definitely have to spray this over another color to give it a glimmer/sparkly feel. I had to go back to the store to buy a regular gold spray paint can and then use this over top of it to eve n see the glitter. Otherwise you can barely tell you spray painted anything.
