Q: Can this be used on an outdoor metal bird bath?

A: We appreciate your interest, Liz! While Rust-Oleum Universal Spray Paint and Primer in One can be used on exterior metal, we do not recommend it for use on a bird bath. This paint is not suitable for use on surfaces that will be submerged in water, and this type of environment will cause it to blister and peel. Good Paint, TERRIBLE SPRAY TIP...
Paint was good but the spray tip is HORRIBLE.. it’s all plastic and warps.. spits paint and applies uneven… constantly have to wipe and clean tip. Choose another style can cause this can is badddddd. Also the trigger is verrry sensitive … its sprays when barely touched to when you are cleaning the drippy tip keep away from face… trust me….

Good for mailboxes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spray paint is great for outdoor projects. Our mailbox and lawn chairs rust quickly due to the moisture and heat here. Every year I have to spray paint our mailbox or it looks faded and we get a letter from our HOA. I have used this product last year and this year, we just used it for good measure. It was the first time our mailbox withstood an entire year without fading. I will stick with this spray paint from now on..

Stays on surfaces
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this on a number of surfaces including my front door and on a shelf. The paint sprays on easy and stays on. It holds up to weather such as rain. I have no doubt that it will hold with the heat as well. It has a strong black color.

Great Spray Paint

The bottle/finger press is really easy to use and doesn't make your finger cramp up. I also love the matte finish, gives a really clean look to the final project.

Love it So Much
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say that I love this so much. I have used it not only on my grill but on frames and a table as well. I was so upset when my grill had so much discoloration and rust from the snow last year and I didn't want to buy a new one. I used the spray paint and my grill looks almost as new as it was when I bought it. I gave it life again and I'm so happy. I used one can the grill and my grill is about medium size overall. The frames and table came out great too. Definitely getting again if I need it .

Great spray paint

It coats the wood quickly and I do not need to spray several layers. It dries evenly and I love how it comes out. The sprayer works great!

The paint covers so nice and evenly now that you have a spray handle. This paint works on all different products like plastics and metal. This paint does come in different finishes for different products too. This paint is great for those small spaces to do touch ups on or bigger projects. No more messy finger either.
