this can easily turn on if you arent careful. burned my whole leg in my pocket while I went jogging and the pain didnt go away for days.

Makes outings alone feel much safer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been carrying one of these around on my personal keys and one on my work keys. I like that they are not heavy, they are discreet, and they don’t take much space in my bag. I feel much safer carrying this around knowing that I have access to something that could protect me. The rings that attach to the keys are very secure and the product is overall well made. I give it 4 stars only because it seems to open with little effort, making it easy for it to switch to the open setting accidentally. This happened to me where it accidentally sprayed inside my home and everyone was coughing for hours. Although it wasn’t a desired incident, it did make me feel better that the product is very potent is strong enough to keep me safe if it ever needs to be used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that the Mighty Discreet spray on the smaller side since pepper sprays aren't something an average person would use multiple times before it expires. Even though this is smaller than a traditional spray, it still has 16 worth of sprays which I still think is overkill. Given the limited shelf life, it doesn't make since to carry the full size spray. Mine is set to expire 9/2029 which is about 4 years. I feel like the design of this spray does not make it easily accessible for dangerous situations. First you have the unhook the snap clip and then you have to twist to release the locking mechanism before you can spray it. Unhooking the snap clip requires dexterity which can be difficult to do when you're panicking, especially if your hands are coated in a slippery substance like oil. Since this is intended for high stress and life-threatening situations, it's critical that you can access and dispense the spray quickly. Since my preferred choice of carrying it is to hook it to my belt loop, I practiced unhooking the clip and twisting the top to get used to the motions.

Unsafe. Safety does not stay locked.
Accidentally discharged into my hand, indoors, when I pulled it out of my pocket. The safety on this does not stay engaged properly. It was on my keys in my pocket. I got home, pulled my keys out of my pocket, and the pepper spray dispensed into the palm of my hand in my living room. It took hours to air out the room but I'm thankful it sprayed into my hand and not outwards and not directly at my face or the dog. This design is not safe. Stick with the gel one and get one with the flip up safety. This design might look appealing for being small and discreet, but don't trust it. I've carried other designs of this brand's sprays before and never had an accidental discharge. This design is unsafe and should be discontinued.

It looks like a regular keychain, so it doesn’t draw attention, but still feels sturdy and well-made. The safety twist top gives me peace of mind that it won’t go off in my pocket, and the snap clip makes it easy to move between my keys, bag, or belt loop. Thankfully I haven’t had to use it in a real situation, but I tested the spray outside and the stream is strong and controlled. For the price, it’s a great little extra layer of security to have on you every day.
