Q: Is there another piece to this that can prevent the car seat fastener from digging in to baby’s thighs? I think we have it fastened correctly but the black buckles seem to dig in.

Overall Impression: The sleek, modern design is a standout, and the six modes offer great versatility. The stroller moves smoothly, and I can see how the different configurations would be useful for various outings. Car Seat & Sliding Base: The Safety Slide™ base is a great concept, but I found the release button placement inconvenient, making it difficult to remove the car seat smoothly. Favorite Features: -Aesthetic appeal – It looks stylish and high-end, and the removable cup holder is a HUGE plus. -Versatility – The six modes make it a great long-term option. -Smooth stroller movement – Despite the issues with the car seat, the stroller itself handled well. Final Thoughts: While I love the design and flexibility, the car seat removal could be easier, and my damaged unit prevented me from fully testing it. With better quality control, this could be a great travel system!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I were thrilled to test out this Safety 1st onBoard slide travel system, thanks to the Stellar Product Testing panel. Let’s start with the car seat, it is ultra light! As a 4 time mommy I can tell you, this made carrying it around so much less of a work out. Getting baby in and out of the car was made all that much easier with the super cool sliding platform. It made it so that I could have the car seat base installed in the middle seat of our smaller SUV. It was perfect, not having to struggle to place the car seat in and out. The base slides to either side making the process really simple. I have to add, the yellow hooks for the anchors threw me off a little at first, but once I figured that part out, it was so easy. I loved this car seat for our smaller SUV with the bench seats, not so much for captain seats. That was a little trickier for me, doable of course, I just thought the slide function wouldn’t serve its purpose on a captain seat. Now for the best part, in my opinion, the stroller! I absolutely loved the bassinet mode. It is the best for little babies! My baby girl slept so well and looked really comfortable in it. The fabric is breathable but also really plush and soft. The umbrella reached over giving the perfect amount of coverage and has a magnetic “peek a boo” window. I really favored the facing in bassinet mode because my baby is still so small, but I was also able to elevate the seat and foot rest so she could sit up and face me too. When she’s a little bigger I love having the option for her to face outwards too. Now for what I personally deem a deal maker or breaker for most strollers, the way they close. This one has two little levers on the handle bar and it automatically folds the stroller in half. It was so simple and took up minimal space in my trunk. It’s also really light weight. Another feature I hadn’t seen until now, an adjustable handlebar! It’s truly the little things that make a big difference. It has a button that allows you to pull the handlebar to your desired height. This was so nice to see and very much appreciated by my family of varying heights. This travel system has held up really well this far, and it’s made outings such a breeze. Whether strolling through isles at a store or out for an afternoon walk, this travel system has been perfect. **On a side note, I have two small toddlers and they fit in this stroller too! It wasn’t hard to push and maneuver either. Granted one child at a time, but it worked for us.**

First off, the car seat is incredibly easy to install with the slide-in feature. No more struggling to get the car seat positioned correctly — it clicks right into place smoothly, saving me so much time and frustration. The stroller itself is lightweight but sturdy, which is a must when you’re juggling multiple kids. It folds up easily with one hand (a lifesaver when you’re holding a baby or chasing a toddler), and it doesn’t take up a ton of space in the trunk. My favorite feature is how comfortable and secure the car seat feels. The padding is soft but supportive, and the harness is easy to adjust without feeling like you need an engineering degree. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are pros and cons to every travel system out there. I was fortunate enough to receive this product from Stellar Product Testing Panel. This travel system has things I loved, things I liked, and things I didn’t like. Here’s what I loved: the stroller system is amazing. It was very easy to assemble. I love that the seat reclines and can also be a bassinet (rather than having multiple attachments for one travel system). The stroller is compact, not heavy, and easy to take in and out of the car. It has a lot of space for storage on the bottom and easily fits my large diaper bag. I loved that the base is very sturdy and has the latching mechanism. Here’s what I liked: the sliding mechanism is very helpful as you can put the car seat in any seat and slide it out to easily get your baby in and out. I can see this being helpful for a large vehicle, but I have a small 2022 corolla cross. It makes it very easy to get my infant in and out of the car when I don’t want to take her AND the car seat out of the car. It helps on days where I am grocery shopping, or out shopping and I can easily take my baby out of the car seat and put her in the stroller. Here’s what I disliked: the sliding mechanism is also what I dislike about the car seat. Because of my compact vehicle, I have to put the seats in front of it up very far to accommodate for the base and car seat to fit together, which causes a very small amount of leg room for those in the front seat. The car seat also has to touch the back of the seat in front of it per the car seat manual. I also didn’t like that the base is extremely heavy, and it doesn’t fit my car seats very well as you can see in the picture. The carseat itself feels very cheap and I dislike that you have to push both side buttons to put the handlebar down.

What stood out immediately was the ability for the car seat to slide laterally on the base. This feature made it so much easier to get our little one in and out of the car. The ability to put the car seat directly on the stroller, without using an adapter, is also a massive plus. The car seat is so comfortable and well padded and our daughter seems much happier in this car seat than our previous one. As for the stroller, the 6 different modes of use are wonderful. We often switch between the sitting up and the bassinet mode on walks if our daughter falls asleep while we’re out. It is also very easy to change the orientation of the seat on the stroller as the sun changes or we change directions while walking. This helps keep the sun out of our baby’s eyes. The stroller was incredibly easy to set up, just having to pop the wheels into place, which is a big positive for us as well. Overall, we really love this travel system. Our favorite feature is definitely the ability to slide the car seat laterally. It can slide in both directions so it doesn’t matter which side of the car you put the car seat on. This has made it a lot easier to get our little one in and out without too much commotion. We would absolutely recommend this travel system to anyone with a little kid. It has made travel with our baby so much easier and she loves both the car seat and the stroller seat, from a comfort standpoint. She seems to even sleep a little better in these ones compared to the previous stroller/car seat we used.

The stroller is a dream with 6 convenient modes that adapt to every adventure and looks so luxurious while doing so, plus the storage space and cup holder keep everything (and my iced coffee!) within reach. The handle is adjustable mm, too, making it comfortable for anyone to use. The best part? The stroller seat easily detaches to click the carseat onto the frame, making transitions seamless. This travel system also includes a sliding base for the carseat making getting in and out of the car easy peezy. We did have some difficulties getting a good fit in my husbands car which is why the title is "Nearly Perfect" but other than that its great. This system has made parenting on-the-go a breeze. I’m obsessed and would buy it in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this to any parent looking for a convenient and luxurious travel system. Perfect mix of style, function, and convenience! I appreciate the Stellar Panel giving me the opportunity to review this amazing product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through a Stellar product Testing Panel. My husband and I already have another brand of car seat that we have been using and when this one came in through stellar panel to us free of charge, we wanted to try it out to see how it compared. Installation was actually fairly easy. In my opinion, there are two main modes to this as far as when it’s attached to the stroller base. You can attach the car seat to the stroller base and push your baby in the car seat, or you can attach the bassinet and push your baby in the bassinet. Then of course you have the car seat and the car seat base that go in your vehicle. At first we could not find the paper guide for the stroller base, but we were still able to get it put together. We did have five people putting this entire system together (three were working on getting the car seat base installed while the other two were working on the stroller base and figuring out how the bassinet and the car seat attached to it). It only took us about 15 to 20 minutes to figure everything out. I love the fact that the car seat actually slides horizontally out of the vehicle a little bit to make loading and unloading our baby easier. I’m on the shorter side, so this is very convenient for me, especially since my husband’s truck is a little bit taller. I do like the fact that it’s very easy to change from bassinet mode to car seat mode on the stroller base. The car seat itself is also much lighter than the other brand that we currently have. The feature that I like the most about this travel system is how easy it is to switch between modes. It’s not a system that takes two people to tear down the stroller or change from the bassinet to the car seat mode or put the car seat in the vehicle. It’s very simple and easy to do if only one parent is available. The most confusing part of the system to me originally was how to change from sitting up bassinet mode to horizontal bassinet mode, and that could be because initially we couldn’t find the how to guide. After we found the guide, we found out that at the head of the bassinet under the sunshade Velcro cover, there is a small lever that you can pull, and it allows you to go from sitting to laying mode. Once we found it, it’s very easy, but originally it was the most confusing part. Overall, if we didn’t already have a separate travel system that we’re currently using I would consider getting another one of these for us to have as well as the grandparents!

I could recycle almost all of the packaging. It was so easy to put the stroller system together! And, it’s a breeze to break apart for folding up &/or throwing in the car. The whole system is lightweight and easy to maneuver. On top of that, the design and look are great, too! We have another top brand of stroller and car seat system and while this one isn’t as robust, it’s kind of awesome that it’s a bit smaller and more compact, but overall almost the identical design and serves every single purpose. The car seat base is the heaviest part and rightfully so. It’s all lightweight but feels very sturdy and safe and that’s the most important to us. Baby is always comfortable and safe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening the Safety 1st onBoard slide travel system, I really appreciated that all of the metal pieces with sharper edges were covered with foam to prevent damage during shipping. I just thought it was all packaged up very thoughtfully and that made such a nice first impression. Everything took me about 10 minutes to assemble, right out of the box. The instructions are VERY easy to follow. I was so relieved to see how clear and simple the steps were (I usually struggle with these sorts of things)! When assembled, the stroller looks very attractive and high-end. The handle bar looks and feels like leather and all of the fabrics look of good quality. When we took it to the zoo, a mom even commented about how nice our stroller was! It has PLENTY of storage space in the bottom, which is something that was really important to me. I'm thrilled with how much I can fit down there, and it's easy to get things in and out. Very nice design! You can easily adjust the handle bar height. I think that's my husband's favorite part since he is so much taller than me! The stroller part of this travel system has six different strolling modes, but we use the rear-facing car seat mode and the carriage mode the most. For daily walks, the carriage mode is my baby's favorite. She falls asleep almost instantly. For days where we are going from car to walking (church, grocery store trips, family trips, etc) I love the option to just take the car seat out of the car and snap it right into the stroller. So convenient! I've even been able to use the stroller for my 5 year old on several occasions. It's so fast and easy to go from the baby carriage mode to the toddler stroller mode. The stroller holds up to 50 lbs! This travel system comes with a base, a carseat, and a stroller. The car seat is incredibly lightweight, and the base is heavy duty and so easy to install. The safety slide feature on the base really saves my back! The ability to pull the seat close to my body before lifting takes all the burden off my back muscles. What a smart feature! I didn't realize how much of a pain in the back traditional car seats and bases are, but my eyes have been opened! There is a better way! I don't think I could ever go back from this, and I'm so grateful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me this system to try out. It's been a real blessing. My family has gotten so much use out of this stroller already, and we go out much more often since we've received it. Going out and about with the baby and preschooler isn't such a daunting task with this travel system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This travel system is absolutely amazing for outings with my baby, it really makes it easy to put him inside the stroller and the same goes for the carseat. The carseats sliding feature helps me put him in the car easily and I have no problem securing him into place. The base is very sturdy and helps me adjust his rear facing carseat seat easily, not to mention it is very quick to get him out of the car and into the stroller base. The stroller has six different modes that can be switched out for both the toddler seat and car seat. This helps me adjust what position I want my baby to be in. It has a spacious undercarriage basket and a visor net so I can watch my baby when forward facing. The different modes makes it ideal for a growing baby, the toddler seat even adjusts at the feet so you can make your babys travel more comfortable. These modes have really helped me with my outings because I can switch my baby easily depending on how I want it at the moment. The most that I like about this travel system is that it very versatile and lightweight, the wheels are the perfect size and make for smooth ride on all kinds of weather. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Safety 1st onBoard Slide Travel System is very easy to use and is great for our needs! I used the onBoard Slide car seat and it made it a lot easier to buckle in my little one and take him out. The car seat is super lightweight but the base is heavy and sturdy, which puts my mind at ease in terms of safety. It has latch connectors which allows you to install the car seat within seconds. The belt buckle has a tightening lever to ensure secure fitting of the base into your car. The sliding feature can be operated with one hand and it has indicators to show that it has been slid back to normal position. The stroller is full size and has faux leather details which make it look luxurious. I loved using it in a slightly reclined stroller mode, then converting it with one pull into carriage mode to allow my baby to take naps during our walks and he looked super comfortable. I have used it on sidewalk, dirt and on bumpy roads and had no issues! Stroller has a large storage and I was able to easily fit 2 large totes. It comes with cup holder and both the car seat and the stroller canopy have a peekaboo mesh window for you to see the baby. (The stroller has a magnetic one while the car seat has a zippered one) It also has an adjustable foot rest which worked great to keep my little one comfortable. The car seat attaches to the stroller frame without any adapters and can be parent or forward facing. A few things I wish were different: if the car seat handle also had the matching faux leather detail, it would make it seem more high end. I also wish the stroller had one hand fold and was able to stand up when folded. Overall, this is a great travel system that allows you to go from in and out of car with ease: just click the car seat onto the frame, or take your baby from seeing the world to taking a much needed nap with stroller to carriage mode. My husband and I now prefer to use this stroller for our outings and we already got a few compliments about how nice our stroller looks! :) Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system!

This travel system meets several of my needs: 1. Modular system I appreciate the ability to snap the car seat into the stroller and also transition from bassinet to rear and front-facing modes. 2. Maneuverability The stroller has large wheels and is able to turn easily in tight places. 3. Sleek look and feel The stroller has a trendy and minimalist design, which means that some features are lacking (e.g. child tray and cupholder), although there is a detachable cupholder for the parent. The aesthetic of the travel system (car seat and stroller together) is beautiful! 4. Ergonomic stroller design The adjustable handlebars make it suitable for people of all heights. 5. Lightweight car seat The car seat itself is very light (under 8 lbs), which is helpful when carrying the baby in and out of the house. Some downsides: 1. Small stroller basket The weight limit of 10 lbs means that I can't use it as easily for grocery shopping. 2. Complicated stroller fold system Although the fold is easy and intuitive, it is difficult to fold with the stroller seat attached. 3. Nearly impossible to install the car seat with latches in small cars We have a Mazda CX-30 and we needed to use the side seat for installing the car seat with latches, which required pushing the driver seat up very far and made the driver positioning uncomfortable. Given the small size of the car, the slide technology didn't achieve its purpose of making it easier to get the baby out of the car. 4. Very heavy car seat base The car seat base is very heavy, making it less convenient to travel with and move between vehicles. Overall, I would recommend this travel system if you have an SUV or larger vehicle and want an all-in-one system that can grow with your child. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Safety 1st onBoard Slide Travel System is a great travel system and includes everything you need in a car seat and stroller combo. Unboxing and assembling the stroller and car seat was super easy. The car seat didn’t require any assembly, and the stroller only took me a few minutes to put together. It was incredibly easy. The instructions for installing and using both the car seat and stroller were also very clear. The stroller can be used with or without the car seat, and the car seat attaches easily to the stroller. Now that it’s finally getting warmer, I’ve taken a few walks with my 3-month-old in the stroller. She seemed content and very happy riding in it. The stroller is very roomy, comfortable, and reclines enough for my 3-month-old. Even though she has pretty good head control now, it’s nice to have the option of a deeper recline for smaller babies. The stroller also looks very spacious and seems like it will grow well with my baby as she gets older. The stroller has thoughtful details and features, such as a stylish bumper bar in a light brown that contrasted nicely with the black stroller, a large storage basket, and a ventilation flap on top for better airflow. The stroller also seemed to handle pretty well bumpy sidewalks and streets. The car seat feels very sturdy and well padded and comfortable for my baby. It features side impact protection and a five-point harness, which makes me feel confident that my little one is secure. The base was simple to install in my car, with a LATCH system that made tightening and securing it one of the easiest car seats I’ve honestly ever installed. We also loved the slide function which made it easy to get my 80th percentile baby in and out of the car! I would recommend this stroller system to any parent looking for an all in one travel system, that is super easy to get in and out of the car! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When considering a new travel system, I wanted something that was easy to use (by me and additional caregivers) as well as something lightweight and this Safety 1st travel system has been both of those and so much more! We were sent this travel system to try out as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I’ve been very impressed over the last few weeks of using it. My favorite feature is how seamlessly the car seat connects from the base directly to the stroller. The slide feature of the car seat base is such a new idea that I was hesitant on if it would be helpful- we have certainly enjoyed it while we’ve been putting my son in and out of the car. It’s very easy to slide as well as ensure it’s locked in fully and properly. As far as the car seat itself, I am not as impressed with the straps/buckle design - the straps have a very large seam/tag that sits right at my child’s neck and I’m sure it is not comfortable. The bottom buckle is also very short so making sure we have a proper fit was slightly difficult. The stroller has been an amazing product that we have been very happy with. Being able to face him out towards the world as well as face me has been such a wonderful feature. My son has taken lots of naps in the stroller so being able to lay him fully flat (bassinet style) has been another wonderful benefit. Our only potential negative of the stroller would be having to store the seat and stroller frame separately. We have really enjoyed the time so far with this travel system and would definitely recommend it for little ones and family’s on the go!

First impression of the car seat is that it’s comfortable, and it worked out for my little one as she is tall so I had to remove the bottoms cushion, but I did not have to remove the headrest with it. She does not have full head control and slight torticollis so this was perfect. The straps could be easier to adjust. The car seat itself is a good weight and I like how thin the handle is to hold onto. The slide feature is great for my vehicle as with my previous car seat, my hand barely fit between it and the seat to unlatch unless the passenger seat was up too far. I could not put that seat behind the drivers seat but this one I could. The seat easily slips in and out of the stroller. And I love the easy flip down into a bassinet. We even could hang a toy from the bar which made my baby happy on our walk. The cushion inside was nice, and I could see us using this even when she is a toddler if she needed to lie down. The drive of the stroller is nice. Overall, I would recommend this stroller. While I did receive it for free through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I would be satisfied with this even if I had purchased it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am shocked at how much I enjoy this system. Right out of the box it was easy to set up. The car seat base was so easy to install, it literally took seconds when using the latch method. The car seat itself is very lightweight. Being only 5 feet tall I usually struggle carrying the car seat with baby inside and getting it in and out of the car. But with the lightness of the car seat and the sliding feature of the base it felt so easy. The sliding feature allows the base to slide out towards you so then you can get the car seat in and out more easily without leaning in so much. As a short person I really appreciated this. The stroller was also easy to use. The leather accents and sleek finish gave it a premium touch. My favorite feature is how the seat can be switched from a bassinet setting to a seat by just adjusting the angles. Overall, I would recommend this system. I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

As soon as we opened the package we knew we would absolutely love this product. I have 2 kids under 2 years old, so as you can imagine I don’t have a ton of time for confusing instructions. We were ready to use the complete system within minutes of arriving. The materials on the stroller and car seat feel durable which is so important for an on the go mom like me. My absolute favorite feature is the sliding access on the base. It gives me an opportunity to put the car seat in the middle seat. This frees up so much room in the back of my car and makes it easy to unload and load my infant up. The car seat has many features, is lightweight, and will grow with my little one until 30 lbs! The stroller portion of the travel system is so versatile. It can hold the car seat or toddler seat and be outward or inward facing. One really great feature is the toddler seat can be rotated so that it turns into a lie-flat baby carriage. The storage underneath is huge! I could fit a diaper bag, purse and smaller cooler when we went for a long outing. All the fabric is machine washable which is an absolute must have. The only issue we have is that when the car seat is installed into the stroller it fits a little loose so when going over bumps it does rattle a bit more than we like. Overall, I think this system is a great fit and will be used for many years to come with our littles.Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system.

As a mom of two, juggling everyday errands with a playful toddler and a newborn is much easier when you can seamlessly switch from an infant car seat to a toddler stroller as needed. The lie-flat baby carriage feature is especially great, allowing our toddler to comfortably nap in the plush quilted seat—our outings have become so much more enjoyable! One thing I was particularly concerned about was keeping my infant’s head in a safe position to avoid the chin-to-chest posture. This car seat keeps my newborn both relaxed and secure, giving me peace of mind on every ride. Another standout feature is the car seat’s sliding mechanism, which makes getting my baby in and out of the car effortless. Quick transitions from car to stroller, thanks to its compact and lightweight design, have made a huge difference for us. It’s easy to maneuver on uneven sidewalks and in tight spaces, and I can even push it with one hand when things get busy. Not to mention the little details that make this stroller perfect—it has a spacious storage basket for all our essentials and a sleek cup holder, which are just the cherries on top! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This is my true and honest opinion about this product. Let me start by talking about how easy the setup was. Right out of the box, I was able to complete the car seat installation and stroller setup in less than 15 minutes! The first thing that caught my eye was the generous amount of storage space under the stroller. Then I was blown away by the luxurious look and feel of the padding inside the stroller chair. I started by placing my infant in the stroller in the bassinet mode. She immediately fell asleep, so we strolled in this mode for quite a while. My child is not one who likes to be on her back for prolonged periods of time unless sleeping, so when she woke up it was so convenient to be able to just press the latch and instantly she went from being in bassinet mode to a reclining stroller mode where she was able to raise her head slightly and watch her older brothers play in the sand. The car seat also consisted of luxurious thick padding. I like that that the car seat base has a rigid latch for enhanced safety and makes installation a breeze! Finally I tried out the slide feature on the car seat. I was not able to gain all of the benefits from the slide feature in my car since the door to my van blocked my access to my baby in slide mode, but I can certainly see how others could benefit from this function. I rate this It a 4/5 with my only drawbacks being that i was not able to gain all the benefits from the slide feature and I thought the shock absorption and wheels left more to be desired. Overall I was highly impressed with this car seat system and will certainly recommend this to anyone who asks.
