These drawer latches are easy to install and don't take much time at all. They work great to keep my son out of our kitchen cabinets. I have used this brand before, and I've always had a good experience.
This is a great reliable product

I put these on the cabinets in my kitchen because my 2 year old loves to get into them. All of the previous safety locks my son was able to figure out how to open it within a few days. Not with this one though! He hasn't been able to open the cabinets since I installed them. Even though it is impossible for him to open I am able to open with no trouble at all. My favorite part is how easy it was to install!
Nice product works great, user friendly

We secured our cabinets as the little man started investigating his world. We have installed other latches in homes prior and these spring loaded latches made it easy for my wife to open the cabinets with arthritic hands. they have been installed for about a month and he has not gotten in yet so I really wonder if the complaint was due to poor alignment rather than a child's strength. I yanked on them after reading the comment and could not get them open. In my past life I was a warranty service tech and found that consumers often find fault with good products because they didn't install them properly.

I was so excited to try these locks since my son gets into everything. We had them on for a couple days and I went to open a cabinet and the lock snapped in half.

Instructions are terrible. This is the first time I have never installed cabinet latches and this was an incredibly miserable experience. I'm relatively handy as well. Once installed, the first latch broke after about 3 opening/closing. Do your self a favor and get a different product.

I love these! It deters my toddler without slowly ME down. I can easily go through my drawers without fiddling with a complicated latch. Easy to install if you have basic tools. I am going to buy more so I can use them on every single drawer in our home!
Basically useless. Do not buy.

If your child is strong enough to pull themselves up, they will yank your cabinets open like there is no safety latch at all. Don't waste your time installing these. Terrible product.
I would buy this product

These spring loaded latches are a must when you have toddlers, they love exploring everything. My two year old is at the stage where he wants to explore every single inch of my home, unfortunately the kitchen is one place I just don't want him exploring kitchen utensils and anything in the kitchen can be really dangerous for kids so I rather have a good baby prooof system that will protect them, and at the same time I get my things protected from them from being destroyed. These Safety 1st spring loaded latches are a bit hard to install for me, it took me a bit to figure it out but that's just because I've never installed anything like that before, I let my husband always do all that work for me, but this time I decided to try them myself and I ended up figuring it out within minutes. I really recommend this brand, they're really durable and easy to open.
Ummm...which direction do catches sit?

I am trying to install these, but cannot tell from instructions in package which direction to face the catch. To me, it only seems to work with the screw hole loops facing out of the cabinet at the opening and the flat edge facing INTO the cabinet. However, the instructions and pictures on this website seem to show the flat edge facing out. I just do not see how the latch will catch that way, and this site provides no place to clarify the issue. The "downloadable" instructions on the product page provide a web page error. Something this small should not be this hard.
I would buy this product again and again

Great product if you have curious toddlers roaming around in the house. My daughter is almost 3 and loves to explore, especially my kitchen drawers. These lightweight safety latches are awesome! Super easy to install and even easier for an adult to unlatch but impossible for my daughter!

At first when we received this product I thought I may be able to keep our two year old out of areas he shouldn't be in. By goodness it worked wonders he still can't open it. I love this gate and I will recommend it to anyone whose kid can figure things out simply and wreak havoc. Do your self a favor and get this gate. Also it looked like a wood gate so my daughter is in love with this as well.
Not good at latching

I installed 1 latch and found the only way to get it to catch was to raise the hook to the point I had to push it down to close the door. Only 1/8", but nogo. The catch is blunt and does not lead the hook down and/or the hook does not have enough angle to lead itself down. Pushing the hook down each time I want to close the door just doesn't do it for me.

Same problems as previous reviewers. The product is simply very poorly designed and engineered. It does not work as it should. How can a company market such a poor product in 2016 is mind buggling!
