Q: How do you open the salt and pepper shaker to get the handle out? It doesn't seem to open at all.
A: Unscrew the top (hardware) bolt that would connect the crank. Once off, you can slide the top off and the crank and instructions are inside.

Q: Is it a set (1 pepper, 1 salt), or does one have a place for the salt and pepper?
A: It is only a single and each single can hold either salt or pepper. I didn’t know that before I ordered.

Q: Is there a difference in purchasing the small and large? i see many people buying 1 large and a small one? Can someone explain the reason?
A: It’s personal preference. Most people I think do that because it looks good visually. And also as a distinction to tell between which has salt inside and which has pepper.

You can remove handle from inside grinder and attach to top for use. Q: I bought two - for separate salt and pepper. Both grinders do not fit properly. The top part of each does not tighten at all. Others have tried and they are faulty loose. I end up loosing more product
