[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from the Q67CT (with rear speakers) to the Q900F/ZA, and I’m seriously impressed. Even without the rear speakers, the sound is way more immersive and powerful. The bass is deep, the clarity is amazing, and it just fills the room. The Q-Symphony feature is one of my favorite things! It uses both the TV and soundbar speakers at the same time, and it makes a big difference. Everything sounds bigger and more detailed. Movies, shows, even regular TV just sound better. It’s a total upgrade in every way. Super happy with it!

But this soundbar is a beast! We turned on some nature documentaries from netflix with hd sound and wow did this soundbar deliver. Waves crashing onto the beach sounded like they were right next to us. Birds chirping in the distance sounded real too. It all felt like we were just in the center of what was happening on the screen, and the sound surrounded us from every direction. We have an open floor plan and our living room is open to the kitchen. So it's quite a lot of space to fill. This soundbar delivers!

For a small room it sounds awesome, more than enough, most of the times I use it for gaming and music and I have to put the volume level below 20 cause it sound really loud and rich without affect quality. It might be expensive but it worth it if you appreciate good sound.

The crispness of the lows and highs is unapparelled. I am not sure how Samsung did it but with most soundbars you get very low voices during movies and loud music but this soundbar is perfect in all ways. The esthetic of both pieces also fit in great for what I imagine is any environment. Super easy setup as well. Its plug and play at its finest!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this soundbar in a covered room. Using the HDMI eARC from my TV enables power on/off using the TV remote. Setting up the treble/bass as well as top firing speakers( atmos feature works great). Adjusting the tone and volume is best set after many hours of critical listening, still making minor tweaks to the sub volume control but this time is well spent as it really highlights the effort Samsung Engineers gave to this design. Listening to this system is pure joy. The sound is crisp and clean, with great bass that truly thumps. I like to listen to my music loud and this system does not disappoint. I have adjusted the top firing speakers such that the audio seems like it comes from the center of my 75" TV. This combination makes watching Music videos like you are in a private concert hall. So very glad I purchased this Samsung soundbar and subwoofer. My only complaint is with the resolution of the volume control as I wish the designers would have allocated 2 more bits to the control for subtle volume adjustments. This is certainly not a deal breaker as this system is truly outstanding. Buy it, you will not be disappointed. I listened to perhaps a dozen or so soundbars before deciding on this Samsung system. The Q series soundbars really puts Samsung squarely on the map for must listen to for sound system. I was pleasantly surprised. Great job Samsung. BTW the side firing speakers do a good for insuring there is not a bad seat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive had this system paired with a samsung 85" smart TV for alittle over a 6 months now, using the q-symphony sounds setting, flawlessly. No trouble setting it up, or pairing, found that the hdmi arc is superior to the optical due to volume controls, and sounds quality. Highly recommend all Samsung sound bars to all, generally for the smooth setup and application control interface when paired with wifi.

Multiple times ive already had to unplug power for it to get back to working correctly. Frustrating when samsung is the only product I use, and that's all it hooked up to.

Hi CoreyD9886, We appreciate you taking a few moments to review the Samsung HW-Q900F Soundbar. Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. When the Soundbar is connected to the Internet, Auto Update allows software to update automatically even when the Soundbar is turned off. You can also update by using the SmartThings app. If not connected to the internet, you can download it onto a USB device, and then upload it to your soundbar - no wireless connection required. Connect the USB drive that contains the update firmware to the SERVICE port of the Soundbar. 1.Go to the Samsung Electronics website (www.samsung.com) → click on the “Support” option in the upper left corner. 2.Click on “Manuals & Software” from the pop-up list > TVs & Home Theater > Home Theater > Select your model 2. Download the firmware file (USB type). 3. Unzip the file to create a folder with the file name. 4. Store the created folder in a USB and then connect it to the Soundbar. 5. A sequence of “UPDATE” > “BYE” > “ON” will appear on the display 3 times. This will take around 6 minutes. - During update, do not turn it off or remove the USB. - If “UPDATE” does not appear on the display window, remove the power cord from the Soundbar and then reconnect it. - When the latest version is installed, no update is performed. - Depending on the USB type, update may not be supported. 6. After the 3 cycles are complete, the Soundbar will restart and last source used will appear on the display for about 20 seconds and then it will go off (“UPDATE” > “BYE” > “ON”) 3 times “D.IN” > off If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Sound quality check, on par with my receiver equipped with discrete speakers. Surround sound, sad to say it beats my setup hands down, especially since I don't have to buy extra components to enjoy surround sound and atmos. Pairs perfectly and easily with my samsung TV, i've watched movies, played games, and listened to music with this soundbar and it doesn't appear to have a weakness. I may look into getting another for my bedroom, especially since it doesn't take up a lot of space.

It has wonderful sound quality, and the background sound from this soundbar is really incredible. I couldn't believe that the quality was so sharp from such a small product. I listen to music, and watch movies, and TV shows, and it really does a great job with hearing all the sounds. I would absolutely recommend this soundbar and woofer!

I was a little skeptical of a soundbar that supposedly had 7.1.2. Once we got everything set up, we were blown away by the absolute amazing sound! First off, every sound system needs a subwoofer. It's crazy what a difference adding a soundbar can make. Then we tested out some movies and were blown away by the simulated surround sound. It really was like you had the whole set up but it was all coming from the soundbar! Even for everyday TV watching or YouTube, the sound is excellent. Setup was a breeze and I love that it can connect through Smart Things so I can control it from nearly anywhere. I am 100% satisfied with this soundbar as our main sound system since it takes less space and is so much easier to set up and get going. Plus the sound is top quality!

Everything worked right out of the box. The sound is insane! That 7.1.2 channel with Wireless Dolby Atmos makes everything so rich and immersive. Sound comes from everywhere, even above! Dialogue is crystal clear, and the wireless subwoofer adds awesome, cable-free bass. It's packed with smart features like voice assistants and easy streaming, plus SpaceFit Sound Pro automatically adjusts the sound to your room – no guesswork needed! if you're still using TV speakers, this is a massive upgrade. It turns watching anything into a true cinematic experience. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a new soundbar.

It brings more depth and clarity to the sound. It gives you the surround sound capabilities. The design is beautiful too, which is great because I'm picky about the looks. Video passthrough works pretty well, we have some external devices connected to the soundbar, which have their visuals pass through to the TV.

Simply plug in the power cable, then the HDMI cable in the designated HDMI port, that is clearly marked, then the HDMI port on the TV marked ARC or eARC and that's it! I also was able to connect it with my Smart Things app in no time at all. After setup, I went straight to the sound test. I feel at a disadvantage, here since I don't have a Samsung TV to pair it with so I am missing out on some of the more unique features. After testing some music and movies, I can truly say this soundbar is phenomenal and does a really good job at recreating that surround sound experience. I still need to get a device that supports Dolby Atmos output because it seems my TV refuses to let this soundbar have an Atmos signal even though it states that it is supposed to. Also, I need to mention what a difference a subwoofer makes with the soundbar. This soundbar already has some decent bass, but once that subwoofer is connected, I can tell you it's a whole new experience! It features deep rich bass that doesn't get distorted or muddle the sound at all. Overall, I am very happy with this exceptional soundbar. The performance far exceeded my expectations and I am truly blown away by how far the surround sound technology in a soundbar has come. Truly phenomenal!
