Great upgrade
Bought this as an upgrade and overall am very happy. Was easy to set up and works great. Only issue is sometimes when turning TV on (4K Bravia) there is no sound. Have to turn TV off then back on. This usually works. This is the only reason for 4 stars. Can definitely recommend though as only a minor inconvenience

Good but....
Great sound but phone app keeps logging out and you then have to re pair it and it also takes a couple seconds for the volume to rise. Otherwise it sounds great and the subwoofer is outstanding.

Great!
I recently upgraded my TV from Samsung to Sony. The change was so positive that I decided to replace all my electronics with Sony products as well. The TV was a great start, and the addition of the Sony HT-S6 theatre soundbar to that TV has significantly improved the viewing experience. It works in conjunction with the TV as well, it uses the TV speakers as a centre speaker. Overall the sound is magnificent, I was a little apprehensive at first about Dolby Atmos and if it actually worked but to my suprise it works brilliantly. Crystal clear sound, beep tight bass, many options within the app to set the sound just right for how you like it. Was easy to set up as well, took less than 5 minutes, pretty much plug and play. Everything you want to do to it really is just personal preference.

Very basic not great
I bout it a few weeks ago and find it very disappointing. The app that you need to install doesn’t work very well infact it’s a waste of time.

Surpassed expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Sony Bravia Sound Bar 6 with subwoofer for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I haven’t ever used auxiliary sound equipment with my TVs before so I enjoyed using the sound bar and subwoofer because it enhanced my viewing experience when watching movies and shows. The sound quality was much better than the native speaker in my Samsung tv of course and also better than expected. It was super simple to connect via bluetooth to the tv and get it all set up so I was in business less than a half hour after opening the box. I do live in an apartment complex so the subwoofer on the floor takes some adjusting so I don’t disturb my downstairs neighbors. I’ll definitely continue to use the product because of the quality alone. Just one gripe, the power cords aren’t long enough to customize for your individual set up so keep that in mind if your power outlets aren’t directly behind where you’d like the speakers placed. I have to re-organize my entertainment center for better cable management for this reason.

Great sound when it works!

The sounds came through so clear and she really enjoys using this to watch movies! It’s also small so we like that you can’t really notice it

Great system, but wish it showed a volume level
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This system is great! Set-up was a BREEZE and it works seamlessly with my Samsung TV straight out of the box. Sound quality and bass are both excellent. My only little complaint is when I turn the volume up and down on the TV remote, the icon that comes up on the TV screen doesn’t show a volume level (a numeric value - see my photo for reference). Similarly, there’s no display on the bar itself showing a volume level. I have this in my kids’ playroom and generally I know what volume level to keep their TV set to, but using this system, I have to listen and gauge with my ears. Obviously not a deal-breaker, just a bit of a bummer when I’m trying to move quickly around the house.

Better than movie theatre quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installing these was quick and easy, connecting and synchronizing via Bluetooth to my phone was also simple.. setup overall took no longer than 20 minutes. I love that i can control it through my phone like a stereo system. It’s not heavy at all so I can easily move it around.. movie night is the best I’ve had people say it sounds like movie theatre quality but better because it’s in the privacy of our own home and we can adjust it to our liking. My mistake was installing it in my parents living room because now they want to keep it there so I’ll have to buy another one for my own home.. which isn’t terrible because it’s definitely worth it. As a horror movie enthusiast this is the only way I’ll watch movies from here on out.

But with the new sound system it's more like a movie theater experience. I would reccomend it. Came in a huge box shaped like a chair lol

100% SATISFIED GREAT THEATER SYSTEM

The design fits perfectly under the television. The remote control work great and easy to use. You don’t really need it as soon as you turn on the television the speakers automatically turns on. Installation was about at most 10 minutes. My 16 year old son completed the installation without any help. The item was securely packaged. Don’t hesitate to purchase you won’t regret it!

Overall great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sony Bravia Theater Bar 6 provides superior sound and bass to my entertainment system. Installation proved to be a bit more difficult than anticipated, mainly with the eArc because my tv doesn’t support it. I did buy an optical video audio cable to properly connect the sound and that did the trick. The remote functions the same as the remote provided via the Bravia app, though I find it a bit finicky, so I mainly control the bar and sub woofer via the app. Overall, a nice product, but could use some improvement with provided instructions and setup.

Theater experience at home
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Song BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6 went beyond my expectations on a theatre experience. Let’s start by the packaging was neat and packed for protection. The instructions were easy to follow and installation was fast. I felt like I was at a theater when watching a movie. The sound is crisp and makes you have the theater experience at home. I always wanted to purchase a theater bar and I am looking forward to watching tv at home. It sumerges you into the tv and makes it enjoyable. It also come with a wireless subwoofer that I place on a table in the living room. The sounds is phenomenal and could not brag more about it. I am completely 1000% satisfied with this product. Highly recommend if you’re hesitant to get a theater bar for your home!!
