Im so happy with mine. Its so intuitive and easy to setup and use. Everything works flawlessly together. The Samsung TV, tablet, phone, smart watch and now speaker system all on the Samsung eco system. Definitely user friendly. The sound quality is out of this world. Ahead of its time. Makes watching movies feel like you're actually there. Better than going to a theater. If you listen to music, you'll definitely love it. I hear and feel more music than on any other platform.

My son is a gamer, is perfect and he is enjoying the ear buds that are wireless, so the rest of us can hear other things when it's his gaming time. We also enjoy any sport while watching our 72in on game days, the sound is sharp and there has never been any static. I rate this as close to perfect as could be. Thank you, From, Happy Consumer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking at upgrading to a Q series for a while and finally was able to pull the trigger. My viewing area is 16x16 and this soundbar fills the space with such unbelievable sound. The wide, height and rears do a tremendous job of really enveloping you in total immersion. I wish there were a few more settings in the smart things app to configure but overall the app is great. I use the Q990 in conjunction with the Samsung 75 inch TV and the Q symphony feature fills out the sound even more. I extensively tested it with and without and can say that as long as you have a good enough speaker in the TV it makes a very positive difference. Overall very happy with this upgrade and I don't think I could ever go back. Couple this with a bluray player or Fandango for high quality streams in Atmos and you're in for a treat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung HW‑Q990F is the benchmark 11.1.4 channel soundbar system in 2025: delivers immersive surround audio, advanced features, and easier setup than traditional AV systems. It’s pricey, but worth it if you’re after top Dolby Atmos performance without adding a full A/V receiver. If budget is tight and you can find the HW‑Q990D on sale, it’s still a strong performer.

Great value after purchasing through a government site. Very happy with performance so far for music. Not yet tested with movies and other Atmos features.
