[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded my old Samsung soundbar to the HW-Q900F and the difference is HUGE! The sound is way better, but the surround is the real star. With 7 speakers aimed at the couch and two firing up, it feels like a mini-theater. Explosions and games are so immersive now. The subwoofer is smaller but packs a serious punch with bass firing from both sides. It's way more powerful than my old one. Hooking it up to my TV and PS5 was easy, and movies/games sound incredible. Plus, Spotify casting is a nice bonus. If you want a big audio upgrade without a bulky setup, this soundbar is a winner!

I chose to connect via the included highspeed HDMI cable into the eARC port behind my Samsung QN95B TV ensuring a direct clean fast signal. The soundbar instantly detected my Samsung TV and switched to Q-Symphony to perfectly sync with the TVs built in speakers. I placed the Subwoofer in the room corner next to my couch for maximum bass response. The bass is loud, smooth and rich but not to overpowering. My wife thought she heard a rumble of thunder outside however it sunny with a clear blue sky. The front firing speakers from the soundbar are crisp and well-balanced. I was able to effortlessly add the Soundbar to my Samsung SmartThings app. I tested some high quality HDR and Dolby Atmos ready movies and boy was it impressive. Lifelike 3D sound like I was in the movie with a helicopter flying over. The experience of superior rich immersive sound is something you can never regret once you hear it. I can truly appreciate the purpose of a 7.1.2 full surround setup versus traditional stereo or 5.1 setups. Highly recommend this soundbar and subwoofer to take your audio-visual game to the next level without breaking the bank for pro-level equipment costing significantly more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had quite a few of these soundbars in hopes of enhancing TV sound without having to spend the money or waste the space on a true home theater system. Samsung knocked it out of the park, most systems do not have the power in terms of volume or clarity but this speaker packs an absolute punch. I have never had to turn it to maximum volume yet and it fills our large bedroom without problem. It pairs with my Samsung TV flawlessly and simulates surround sound well. The unique feature of q symphony actually uses the tvs built in speakers to enhance the sound experience which is genius allowing multidirectional sound from separate speaker sources. The subwoofer also packs a punch especially for music and for action content to truly full the room. I love the seamless integration with the TV so that you can control volume with the TV remote without having to use the speaker remote and how the TV power button controls both units. I also like the form factor, despite its large size, it blends well under the TV and looks premium. The build material is especially nice and conveys quality. The true test is comparing it to my full true 7.1 speaker system in the living room complete with 7 actual speakers, subwoofer, and receiver and the Samsung sound bar actually sounds more clear, but obviously not as loud. This is simply just a well designed, perfect companion to your TV to maximize your media consumption experience. I highly recommend splurging on this!

What a powerhouse of a machine. The setup was super easy especially since you just open the Smart things app, click add device and it finds it right away. This thing comes with 7.1.2 channel sound along with Dolby Atmos giving off authentic real life sound for the entire family to enjoy. This new awesome soundbar also offers Active Voice Amplifier, making the voices on the screen crisp and clear as if they were standing right in front of you. The Sub woofer making an explosion feel like its happening in real life and not on a screen. The Spacefit Sound feature is awesome, making the sound fit perfectly in your room. There isn't so much to say as the name says exactly what the feature does. This sound bar perfectly gives you the sound you need for anything from movies to tv shows to sports games. This soundbar is pricy and because of that is not for everyone, but for anyone looking for the best of the best and willing to spend this is the item to buy, you would not regret it.

I decided to give their soundbar a try, and I’m honestly blown away. The sound is rich, clear, and creates an immersive experience. Whether I’m watching a movie or just regular TV, it feels completely upgraded. Now I can’t even imagine turning on my TV without it. I recently had some friends and family over, and they were all impressed by the sound quality. A few of them even mentioned they plan to buy one for their own homes. You get this incredibly immersive three dimensional audio that really fills the entire living room with effects coming from all around and even above you it's like having a theater right at home. What I particularly appreciate is the dialogue clarity. I can finally hear every single word crisply even during intense action sequences which was a constant struggle before. For anyone new to soundbars the setup was surprisingly straightforward. I had it unboxed and working as soon as plugged in the HDMI cord which is included to my TV into the eARC port. I also love how it seems to automatically optimize the sound for my specific room making everything sound just right without me having to fiddle with settings. Honestly this soundbar has made everything from movie nights to just casual TV watching so much more engaging and enjoyable. If you're on the fence about upgrading your audio, I wholeheartedly recommend the Q900F.. It's a fantastic investment for a truly premium sound experience!

The setup was super easy: take it out of the box, plug it in under the TV and connect it to the HDMI ARC, plug in the subwoofer and turn it on. Sound came out crisp and clear with no hassle. One of the best features of this soundbar is that it connects to my Samsung Smart Things app. I already have several appliances that use this app, so I already had it downloaded. I opened the app and the soundbar was detected immediately. I was able to connect my phone to the soundbar via Bluetooth through the app as well as set up some sound preferences, such as increasing the subwoofer volume. The subwoofer was very nice, deep, rich bass filled my room while listening to music. Definitely a must have device for anyone who wants to feel immersed in their cinema viewing. I would definitely recommend it.

My living room has never sounded better! The immersive surround sound experience the HW-Q900F provides is truly remarkable—it's as if the audio is coming from every direction, making movies and music feel much more lifelike. One of the standout features for me is the ability to enjoy rich, dynamic sound without having to crank up the volume. With my previous soundbar, I often had to increase the volume significantly to get the depth I wanted, but with the HW-Q900F, I can enjoy full, clear audio at much lower levels. The soundbar also offers impressive connectivity options, including 2 HDMI In ports, 1 HDMI Out port, HDMI ARC, and HDMI CEC, making it easy to connect all my devices without hassle. It also has an optical input, Bluetooth 5.3, and WiFi, providing a variety of options for seamless streaming and connection. Once mounted plugged hdmi and power and it did the rest on its own as soon as I turned my TV on. The whole process took about 30 minutes from unpacking to ready to play. The sound quality it amazing, the True 7.1.2 ch full surround sound is remarkable! you truely get that surround sound effect. Wow! to be wireless is awesome, no need to hide ugly cords everywhere. I can't believe it all comes from just one sound bar. I have a Samsung TV and what a benefit the Q symphony option is. Adding my TV speakers to this already amazing sounding bar is just that much better. I really do appreciate the wireless Dolby Atmos, simple great! The space fit sound pro plus is a great feature, it feels like it tailors the sound quality to fit my living room. The sound is great while watching normal TV, and outstanding with movies and sports. The Active voice amplifier is great it makes it so you are still able hear voice during action sceens when they tend to drown out. you hear what ever is being said crystal clear. The sound is rich and crisp, as for the subwoofer my oh my. Amazing deep bass, with enough thump to fill most any room and capabilty to adjust that bass is great. The sub is so small it can be placed anywhere in the room and still sound amazing, whether you want to conceal it or show it off. I really apprciate the Smart Integration, it make controling the system just that musch easier. I downloaded the app and am now able to make any adjustments I want through my phone. The kids love the sound while playing their games, Game mode Pro makes them feel like they are in the game. I am beyond pleased with my sound bar, it far surpassed my expectations.

The subwoofer is wireless as well so you can place it anywhere you’d like. The Dolby atmosphere makes the sound so clear. Especially when playing a game and using its game mode, it make it feel like you’re surrounded and in the game itself!

Was coming from a different premium brand that always had trouble syncing with my Samsung TV and Xbox, but as soon as I plugged this in that issue went away. The sound quality is great, and I think the rear speakers do a really good job of bringing the room together. I don't really have any complaints other than that I wish I had made the change sooner.

It connected to our TV quickly, without a maze of wires or a bunch of tech headaches. Plus, it looks sleek and modern. When it comes to sound, the HW-Q900F completely impressed me. Whether it's family movie nights, my husband watching sports, or the kids gaming or streaming shows, the sound fills the room beautifully. Dialogue is super clear — no more cranking the volume up and down — and the bass is strong but never drowns everything else out. It makes our TV time feel a lot more like a theater experience, right at home. One little hiccup I ran into was when streaming YouTube: at first, the sound wasn’t syncing perfectly with the video. It was a bit frustrating (especially after I had just finished setting everything up myself!), but after some adjusting and updating, it worked much better. Just something to be aware of if you do a lot of streaming. A bonus I didn’t expect to love as much as I do is the Bluetooth feature. It’s so easy to connect my phone or the kids' phones to play music through the sound bar — perfect for when we’re cooking, cleaning, or just hanging out. We began researching audio solutions and were thrilled to be selected for this campaign—perfect timing! It had been years since we last had a surround sound system. That’s where the Samsung HW-Q900F came in. Unboxing and Setup The package weighs in at around 60 pounds, and while the soundbar itself is large, it’s far from unwieldy. Setup was refreshingly straightforward thanks to HDMI pass-through and the HDMI ARC port. The only hiccup came from our TV not automatically detecting devices due to previously configured HDMI inputs—a minor issue that was quickly resolved. Performance and Experience To put the system to the test, we started with Top Gun: Maverick—what better way to gauge performance than the thunderous roar of jet engines? The result was stunning. The immersive sound quality completely drew us in, and my wife was utterly captivated by how lifelike everything sounded. We ended up watching the whole movie as our first "test". Over the past week, we’ve tried the soundbar with everything from blockbuster movies to music and classic TV shows like MASH*. One of the first things that pleasantly surprised me was the subwoofer – it has a remarkably small footprint for the powerful bass it delivers, making placement much easier than I anticipated. The soundbar itself does have some heft and is larger than my previous unit, but that's understandable given the technology packed inside. Aesthetically, it looks sharp with its angular design, fitting well under the TV. The real standout, however, is the sound quality. It absolutely delivers on the promise of true 7.1.2 channel surround sound. Watching movies has become incredibly immersive; the system creates a wide soundstage with clear separation, and the up-firing channels add that crucial height dimension, especially noticeable with Dolby Atmos content. You really feel enveloped in the action, transported beyond just watching a screen. The passthrough feature is excellent and works seamlessly, simplifying connections. While I haven't explored every single smart feature in depth yet, the out-of-the-box sound feels well-balanced for my room. It provides a truly premium, flagship-level audio experience. My only minor wish would be for updated compatible rear speaker options for potential future expansion, but that's just nitpicking on what is already a fantastic product. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and would recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful, immersive home theater sound without a complicated setup.
