Art display disappointing
The TV gives a great picture and sound but the art display is problematic. A monthly subscription is needed to find art for display but this provides a very limited selection of art, not searchable by artist, constantly changing, with no ability to return to a work you might have liked from the week before. We bought some art from a third party but the TV is constantly removing this from the art queue. I will be cancelling my subscription and am still trying to find a way to force the TV to display the art I want. Frustrating.

Frame TV Review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every month or so the TV just turns itself on in the middle of the night. The remote is no where near the tv when it happens.

Cassie, It’s unfortunate to hear that your TV is powering on by itself. There are a few things that could be triggering this, and we recommend checking the following: 1. Check the One Connect Cable – Ensure the cable is not damaged, pinched, or bent. A damaged cable can send false signals to the TV, causing power issues. 2. Power On with Mobile – TVs connected to SmartThings or other smart devices can turn on automatically if triggered by signals from a mobile device. Go to: Settings > All Settings > Connection > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile and set this to Off if you don’t want the TV waking due to network activity. 3. Timers & External Device Settings – • Sleep Timer or On Timer: Go to Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > System Manager > Time > Timer Settings and make sure no power timers are enabled. • Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC): This feature allows HDMI-connected devices to control the TV. If a device powers on, it may also power on the TV. To disable: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = Off 4. Update firmware, if possible: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now If the issue persists, try unplugging the TV and One Connect Box for 30 seconds, then reconnect. Samsung pushes content I don't want
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought The Frame to have a good TV, to be able to stream, and to have the benefit of the art display. It was a huge surprise that Samsung constantly pushes horrible content - cartoons and lots of other programming I don't ever want to see. It is virtually impossible to get rid of it. I had no idea this was anything but a regular TV with an art display when I bought it. Be forewarned.

Amazing Picture and User Experience

The interface and remote is user friendly and quick to learn, making it easy to pick up for any user. The picture quality is phenomenal and the frame when it’s off gives a classy but fun experience for our living room when entertaining, so it’s not just a tv sitting there, but something that you can talk about while having a conversation. Absolutely love it and would recommend it to friends and family.

If you're getting this its largely impart that it has the feature to display a picture or art without making it look like a tv. Having said that, it delivers for sure. The Samsung home screen sometimes throws me off as it is significantly different from that of other TV's on the market.

Sharper and more coloful!
Our 15 year old 55" TV gave up the ghost last month. Well actually it suddenly got multiple ghosts - green ones!. So we opted for the Samsung Frame 65". What an amazing difference! We sit about 8 feet from our screen, so we didn't know if we'd see much difference in sharpness. But everything is so much crisper and with richer colors. Art Mode is great. We paid extra so that we would have a bigger selection. And almost right away I downloaded the SmartThings app so that I could transfer photos to the Frame. What an impact to see them at that size! There are a few things you need to do to get the best out of the Frame. First, you have to ask your internet provider to provide you a higher speed of data transfer. We were getting 50 GB but have had that increased to 150. You can expect a price increase with the new service. 4K video (UHD) requires around 4 x as much data per second as 2K (HD).

I absolutely love my 43-inch Samsung Frame TV! The Art Store and the ability to upload my own photos make it feel like a piece of art when I’m not watching. The Samsung channels are a great bonus, and the built-in speakers are surprisingly impressive. The picture clarity is stunning—everything looks crisp and vibrant. Without a doubt, it’s the best TV I’ve ever owned!
