Q: I HAVE THIS AND THE FIRST ATACHED BLADE IS WONDERFUL. TRIED IN VAIN TO AFFIX THE NEW BLADE AND IT DOES NOT WORK. THIS THE SECOND ONE I PURCHASED AND IT STILL DOES NOT. WORK, SORRY TO SAY.

A: Hello, thank you for your question. Our Hydro Silk razor has unique skin guards on each blade to help protect skin from irritation during shaving. We do still recommend that you use shave prep such as shaving gel or shave cream. Schick Hydro Silk™ is a “traditional” razor. It provides moisture and glide throughout each shave and the best results are achieved by using a shave preparation.

A: Hold handle in hand, and push white release button by razor blade cartridge to release used cartridge. For attaching new, insert top of handle into the back of new razor cartridge, until it snaps into place.

Have loved this razor for many years but something has recently changed. The last several refills are causing horrible razor burn for all 3 of us in the house that uses this particular kind of razor. It’s so weird! What did you change? We’ve had to recently switch razors companies because of this

I used to use the Schick Intuition Fab razors but unfortunately they discontinued the product which was so disappointing because that razor was the best at not giving me razor burn or cuts. The only downside was it didn’t get all the hair in some places. This is a good product and cuts really well. The only downside is it cuts my skin often. Even though I am very careful with my shaving, it never fails that I end up with a nick. This was my next best choice to the Fab. Overall, it is a good product.

It took me way too long to realize that these were causing razor burn. It was so mild and I already have sensitive skin. But then it got severe. I looked these up from a previous order worried something other than aloe was now included and I saw reviews of others shared experiences. Very disappointed!!! I switched back to dollar shave club

I hate "slurging" on things like this- mostly because whenever I do, I really don't find anything that out of the ordinary about the product that a genric one doesn't offer. Soooo after using sensitive skin disposabe ones and noticing that they don't work- I finally caved any got these. So happy I did because they make such a difference. The work I do feels better because my legs feel better. I know that maybe it seems simple: sometimes you get what you pay for and somethings are worth paying the difference for. I hope today you choose to do something good for yourself, even if it seems as silly as buying the nicer razor :)

This razor is too bulky for a smooth shave so it took me forever to shave under my arms. It is not for sensitive skin either because it left scrape marks on the bottom of my legs. I prefer a less bulky razor that glides smoothly over my skin. Unfortunately, this is probably the worst razor I ever purchased so, I returned it.

Not a huge fan of the shave the razor doesn’t go down smoothly and catch the hairs. Kind of felt like a carpet burn shaving and I did use shaving cream.

I could feel the blades drag against my skin, even with ample shaving cream. This razor has no flexibility to go over boney areas like knees and shin. I haven't been this badly cut while shaving since my very first time!
