The Schick Xtreme 3 disposable razors have garnered mixed feedback from guests, with many praising their close and comfortable shave, especially for sensitive skin. However, the recent redesign of the handle has led to dissatisfaction due to its flimsy feel and lack of grip. Despite this, the razors are noted for their sharp blades and effective performance, making them a practical choice for both face and head shaving. Guests appreciate the value of the multi-pack, which offers a good number of uses before needing replacement.

Horrible revision

I have used these for several years and they were always great. Just started a new pack and the revised handle is terrible. Feels like a cheap generic razor in comparison to the old design. You made this product go from five stars down to one star. Time to look for something better and stop buying these...
Horrible new design.

Used extreme 3 for years. New cheap design is worthless. Who made this decision should be fired.

I've noticed the handle size has decreased recently. I hope the blades are still manufactured the same.
Skimp on the redesign, hiked up the price.

Been using the xtreme 3 for years. The handle design change is terrible. It is difficult to hold, too lightweight, and almost feels unfinished. It's uncomfortable to hold making me work harder to get a close shave and in turn causing irritation. Thumbs down all the way, fire the idiot who made this call. Price went up material cost went down. Win win for the corporation! Greed at its finest smack in our faces. Needless to say ya won't be getting any more money from me.

Shick...what happened? I used these razors for years, but No More! The handle is thinner, the blades are thinner, and the product cost more. I switched to Harry's disposable razors and Im very sastified with the results. Shick: bring back to old design and I will be a customer again.

The Schick Xtreme 3 Sensitive razor has been updated to our new Steady Grip Handle, which provides the same close and comfortable shave, but with an updated ergonomic, no-slip handle for a steady grip and precise control. We were sorry to learn that our product did not meet your expectations and we will share your feedback with our team.

Sad Shaver - 22 days ago

Really liked this razor, been using it for years. Your new handle designed turned it into a flimsy piece of crap. Bring back the old handle or I will be finding a new razor. Other disappointed shavers: Your can take the head off of the new razor and put it on an old handle- if you have any old razors left.

I've used these razors forever to shave my head and face. They've been redesigned in the last year or so and have really taken a turn towards being cheap and ineffective. They no longer have the same handle or head, and aren't suitable anymore. Time to find another razor to rely on and donate or throw away the huge pack purchased from the wholesale club.

Blades are dangerous

The blades are dangerous. This has never happened before when shaving with other razors, but with this razor, the blade caught right at the top of my husband's cheekbone and left a cut. Will definitely not be using them again.

after over fifty years of using schick razors, the end has come. The redesign or shall we say the pitiful redesign of the extreme 3 razor into a cheap feeling dollar store disposable razor makes no sense. Or shall we say to the bottom profit line, A FEW CENTS!! It's light and flimsy and has no balance in your hand. Looking for a new razor and you know who it probably will be. If I could I'd give it NO STARS!

They ruined a good product,,,The new style is thin, cheaply made now,,The weight,,and feel isnt the same now,,,It feels as if it a play toy now instead of a mans razor,, I know times are tough for the company, but i would have gladly paid a little extra to keep it the way it was. Schick,,,your cuts in product design lost me as a customer.

The product has been changed the handle is significantly more flimsy than it was. The pictures on the website do not represent the changes to the product. Unfortunately, because of the marketing, I purchased several containers of these razors, I would not have made that mistake cut I known of the just quality in changes made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are really great razors. They give you a clean shave with no tugging on hairs as you shave. These last me a couple uses so it’s definitely worth your money.

I have used Shick Xtreme3 blades for as long as I can remember but the last package that I bought is just a pack of Face Rippers!! Normally, they do a great job but this time, I think they are destined for the garbage can.

Well, I opened a new package of the Xtreme 3 razors and I can't tell you how disappointed I am. The handle is very flimsy and slippery after you removed the rubbery grip resulting in nicks and cuts. I have been using these razors for years and now I'll have to find something else. Why would you change the design/handle. Well, I know why...CHEAPER TO MANUFACTURE, and really isn't that all that matters, the bottom line. I will not be buying these again unless you go back to the old design. I can tell by reading 99% of the other comments that I'm not alone. How's that going to effect the bottom line

Just opened a new pack of razors only to find out that there was a design change on the handle. The handle is to thin and light making it awkward to use. I have been using the old style razors for ever and they had the perfect handle. The handle felt good in your hand, had the perfect weight and did not slip while using it. This product to me was a 5 but I am so unsatisfied I can only give the new style a1 and I will be looking at another brand to purchase.

Like everyone else I came to say how disappointed I am in the new redesigned razor. I have been using this razor for a decade and recently they changed it to be smaller and way harder to hold by removing the rubbery grip. I'm so sad!! Now I have to find a new one. Ughhh. PLEASE bring back the old design. I'd pay more, whatever.
