After being locked into my house when a standard locking knob malfunctioned, I wanted a "hall and closet" knob that couldn't lock and had fewer moving parts. This lock was affordable and came with easy instructions. All i needed was my trusty screwdriver! I had to switch to the round faceplate and the instructions even made that easy. The hardest part was keeping my cats inside while I had the door open! The antique brass looks fantastic and everything lined up perfectly with old knob's door jam. I feel proud!
